How do I use CrackShot weapons with other plugins? (kits, arenas, shops, classes etc.)
I configured my permissions file. How come players can still use all weapons?

Default weapons
For those who are curious about what CrackShot is capable of achieving, but squealed like a little girl upon viewing the complete list of modules, you're in luck. The plugin comes with 18 default weapons, so you can jump right into the action! ... a very small taste of the action.

Known issues
Minecraft visual bug: Projectiles that are launched at high velocities (>40) may follow a warped flight path. Generally, they will appear to either curve to the left or to the right. Do not be fooled though, as the projectiles will always be spot-on despite what you see!
Minecraft 1.9 bug: Players may hurt themselves if they shoot at an entity that is too close to them. Affects servers between 1.9 and 1.16.
Spigot 1.15 bug: Entities cannot be hit by multiple projectiles at the same time. Affects servers between 1.15 and 1.16.4.

Posted Dec 13, 2013Hey ive noticed you can spam the putty by quickly alternating right and left clicks, is there any setting that stops this?? ive tried enabling reload and also delay between shots but nothing is working...

On McPatcher I could see it possible, but Ive never seen such feature with Optifine.

Yes, you can make a texture for guns with same ID but different data, as long as the MCPatcher's or Optifine's CIT (Custom Item Texture) is enabled.
I won't be helping you with texture pack, you need to learn on your own.
For example, 270:1 (Wooden Hoe with 1 damage) with texture of M9 and 270:2 (Wooden Hoe with 2 damage) with texture of M1911
If you are planning on making survival mode with guns, I recommend you using data of 1000 - 2000

Posted Dec 8, 2013Could you either make it an option or a general feature to prevent players from being able to fly with weapons with much recoil? As of now you can for instance fly over walls with the AK-47 as long as you look down. So currently if you look down you get pushed up in the air, that is good, though if the recoil is high you get pushed quite high. Maybe some thing like setting a max Y value for the velocity of the player when you add the recoil ;)

The Item_Type that the weapons use probably doesn't exist for 1.5.2. It wough be a 1.6 or 1.7 item like horse armour. So go in your defaultWeapons config and change the Item_Type: (ID) to some ID of an item which is in 1.5.2
Example: Change Item_Type: 417 to Item_Type: 285
