How to use and setup captainAuthenticator for your Account

Setup captainAuthenticator for your Account

• Run the command '/generateKey' to Generate your Secret Key
• Now .. Make sure you have the 'Google Authenticator' app on your phone ( if not download it on your app store / play store )
• Press the Menu Button ( The one looks like 3 boxes on top of each other )
• Press 'Set up account'
• Press 'Enter Provided Key'
• Enter your Secret key to the 'Enter your Key' Text Field'
• The Account name can be anything
• Press 'Add'
• Run the command '/verify <code>'. Change the <code> to the code shown up at your Google Authenticator App above the Account Name.
  • Example : /verify 12345
• Voila! You're all set

Login with captainAuthenticator

• Run the command '/verify <code>'. Change the <code> to the code shown up at your Google Authenticator App above the Account Name.
  • Example : /verify 12345
• Voila! You're all set

Set your Trusted IP

• Run the command '/trust <code>'. Change the <code> to the code shown up at your Google Authenticator App above the Account Name.
  • Example : /trust 12345
• Voila! You're all set

Reset your Trusted IP

• Run the command '/untrust <code>'. Change the <code> to the code shown up at your Google Authenticator App above the Account Name.
  • Example : /untrust 12345
• Voila! You're all set

Reset your Key

• Run the command '/resetkey <code>'. Change the <code> to the code shown up at your Google Authenticator App above the Account Name.
  • Example : /resetkey 12345
• Voila! You're all set
