This is a plugin mostly intended for PvP and RP servers. It modifies the players behavior on death. Now, instead of dropping the items and disappearing, the player spawns a corpse! The corpses inventory (previously owned by the dead player) can be accessed by right-clicking it. The time the corpse stays is configurable. Note: This plugin (v1.4 and lower) requires RemoteEntities to run.

The version numbers specify the version in which the features appear

Features

Player spawns a corpse on death(v1.0)
Players inventory is assigned to the corpse(v1.0)
Corpses inventory can be accessed by right-clicking it(v1.0)
Armor can be taken off just by hitting the corpse(v1.0)
TagAPI support. (Colored name)(v1.2)
Remove corpses by punching them with a stone shovel (v2.0)

Permissions

corpses.nocorpse - Player dies the classic way, without spawning a corpse (v1.0)
corpses.bury - Bury corpses with a stone shovel (v2.0)

ToDo

Make plugin independent from RemoteEntities - Done! (v2.0)

You have to right click on the head. Floating will be fixed in the next release

Tried this on our own server, and the bodies float and drift back and forth as they lay on the ground, and their inventories are inaccessible. Are there any incompatibilities with this plugin or particular plugin settings that mess with it that are known?

elmo, please add information including bukkit version and corpses version along with remote entities version you are using so we may assist you sir. It would also help if you shared the console errors you are getting. Please add this info and lets get it figured out for you.

WOULD BE GREAT IF I COULD USE IT. I put the .jar in and it won't load up. I am running on a MAC and my software is 10.8.4 mountain lion. please help

I think the fix for 1.5.2 will be a blessing, there are still allot of servers that use it. I have followed this plugin since you started it and Think it is great, even if I myself have as of yet been able to use it. Your hard work and dedication to your work is outstanding and I give you my deepest thanks. If you send me the 1.5.2 file I will test it as soon as I see the e-mail or pm sir. I am at your disposal, and for what it worth there will not be many servers it wont work on if we get it debugged for mine as my plugin count would make most owners cringe.

Alexander5657, do you know about the unknown dependencies exception? i keep getting that its missing a dependendcy called RemoteEntities which was causing te plugin not to load at all.

Is the content of the corpse protected or anyone who finds the corpse can loot it?
