Cops and Robbers
Gameplay
Upon creation of a new game, all players become either a cop or a citizen. Once a citizen commits a crime, he will become a robber. Upon the killing of the robber by a cop, the robber will spawn in the designated jail becoming a prisoner. He can either remain there until released by a cop or attempt to escape.
Key Aspects of the Game
- Little to no protection will be over jails; so watch the inmates carefully!
- Criminals must be killed by a cop in order to be arrested!
- Cops are allowed to kill and assault anyone without risk of being jailed!
- But cops DO become robbers for doing, making, or selling drugs!
- Some crimes are easier to get caught doing than others!
- Prisoners that commit crimes are still prisoners so if they die by any means, they respawn in jail!

Commands
- /car new - Starts new game.
- /car end - Ends current game.
- /car laws - Lists active laws.
- /car cops - Lists all cops.
- /car robbers - Lists all robbers.
- /car prisoners - Lists all prisoners.
- /car citizens - Lists all citizens.
- /car role <player> [role] - Sets the role of the given player.
Installation
Download and install Spout as well as Spoutcraft. Then simply, place the jar in your plugins folder.

But can you make an optional connect with this Jail-Plugin: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/jail/ And for what is the starts new game and ends current game? Possible to make it everytime online? And one Question at least: How becomes the criminal Wanteds? LIke GTA:SA or how?

Spout is only necessary for the skins and checking for drug production. Nothing else requires Spout. I believe the plugin will run properly without Spout. Please tell me if it doesn't.

Posted Feb 1, 2012This sounds awesome. Can you make it so its permission based so I can make certain people cops and robbers. Maybe even a Gang boss who can add and kick members >_> Also having a set jail time would be nice.

Yeah, and maybe a drug dealer also. And they have access to drugs, which if found by the police, is arrestable, or something like that.

I get that, but I wanted a game with multiple classes, like gun dealer, and a class like police, so that you can choose on joining the game a class. And there would be a limit to the amount of people per class, so it wouldn't be a tyrannical overpowered police force or raider or etc. I don't know if you could do that or something but yeah.

I wanted to ensure that there would always be a police force. Otherwise, there would be no one to enforce the laws thus rendering the game unplayable. But I do plan on a command allowing an op to set a player's role. I like your idea in which a player may decide his role - a recruitment for the police force would be cool, and a rep system may also be in this project's future. I was thinking a ranking system within the police force for the police and one for the gangs of robbers as well. Great ideas. I will try to incorporate them in future versions.

Posted Jan 23, 2012Can you make it so that all players spawn as citizens, and a command or integration with another plugin that lets you use a sign to change your class will let you select either cop, robber, or some other class(could be handled by an external plugin as well) and maybe a rep system, where you can only be a certain class if you have sufficient reputation points?

Currently, the project is on hold as I wait for the latest Bukkit release. Upon its release, a maximum of one week will be required for the the first file. I will do my best to make it available as quickly as possible. I appreciate the support.
