ConvoSync
ConvoSync allows players on separate Minecraft servers to chat with each other. There is even a custom client that everybody can use to speak to each other on your Minecraft servers right from their desktops, without opening Minecraft!
Features:
- Safely allow Minecrafters on the servers you host to be in contact even when they can't log onto Minecraft
- Securely issue administrative commands to any of your servers with this plugin installed
- Expand smaller population servers into bigger servers by expanding the player base
- Easily keep a master chat record of all chat between ALL servers
- Quickly customize the many settings
The jar we provide has THREE purposes, and it's all contained in ONE jar file:
- ConvoSync Plugin: The Minecraft plugin
- ConvoSync Client: The custom client to speak to your friends on servers
- ConvoSync Server: A server to connect everyone's plugin together
EVERYTHING needed to get your server up and running with ConvoSync can be found in this wiki: ConvoSync Wiki

Bliry did already answer, but we're not entirely sure we know what you're asking about, to be honest. The CS server can be run on the same machine as a minecraft server, and it's definitely not heavy on resources. Just direct the plugins to the localhost ip on the port you set the server to.
Short story: You shouldn't need a separate machine to run the server; it can run alongside an mc server. If you have any more information that might help clarify things, feel free to post it!

Yanniclord, no, the ConvoSync plugin cannot function as a ConvoSync server. However, the ConvoSync server does not have to be run on a separate machine, it just must be bound to a different port.

Posted Jul 14, 2014Bliry, is there any way i can make a server thats already running it only like a plugin, making that server the host, and the others the clients? I dont want to run another machine to my 3 servers just to sync chat, if you could make it so that CS reads the chat from all clients on the same port or so, that are linked to the host, it would be great. Cheers -Yanniclord

Posted Sep 5, 2013Thanks for bringing this to our attention! It's a simple issue that will be corrected on the next version (which we just uploaded). You have two options to work around this while we wait for the corrected plugin to be approved within the next few days:
EDIT: The new version is out that fixes this bug; it just got approved. Enjoy!

Posted Sep 5, 2013When I run this script in my Debian server, it told me "no main manifest attribute, in ConvoSyncBundle.jar" :
java -jar "ConvoSyncBundle.jar" Port:25000 Name:MyCraft PluginPassword:123456 ApplicationPassword:123456
I'm using the newest version of ConvoSync.
Is there any step that I missed? 0.0
