consoleReaderXMPP
Features
Overview
This plugin uses XMPP to forward player chat messages on the server to your own chat client to allow you to monitor users without having to be logged in. You can reply to players and issue commands from the chat client. Compatible with Google Talk and other XMPP services.
This uses the Smack API, which is why the plugin is so large.
Commands
- Typing "whos online" in the chat window will show the players logged in.
- Typing "stop messages" will stop the program from sending anymore messages.
- Typing "start messages" will resume the messages being sent.
- Typing a slash before the message will make the plugin attempt to forward that command to the server. Like "/lightning <player>" should activate that command if used properly.
Configuration
Example
My server: http://minecraft.graphicport.net

I did make a folder called: consoleReaderXMPP and copied the config to a config.yml file inside it.

Does the plugin auto create the config.yml or do i have to copy your config from the bukkit dev to the plugins folder?
Can you pls upload your updatet version to dropbox, google drive, or some other filehoster? :)

I did an update that fixed a bunch of things but it was not approved. I'm not going to bother if they don't want to approve the thing.

Posted Apr 30, 2013I think this plugin has a great potential!
But I cant get it to work properly. sending from talk on my phone to minecraft works. But I don't get anything from minecraft to my phone.
The text that enters minecraft is coming from "Admin scott", and not from what I set in the config file. (The config must have been read, since it is using my acount...)
when your plugin is installed i get theese errors:
Looks to me as if it is checking for a window on my desktop and don't find it.... I'am using linux, craftbukkit 1.5.1 and starting it from an terminal.
When I remove your plugin the errors disapears.

Posted Apr 28, 2013Hi, can you please update your plugin for 1.5.1, or is it normal that the plugin don't create a plugin folder with the configs?
