What is CompleteDeaths2?

CompleteDeaths2 is the spiritual, and functional successor to CompleteDeaths. It was re-written from the ground up with a vastly improved matching algorithm (up to 300% faster!), support for additional configuration, and greater stability for now and future releases.

What does it do?

• Replace all Minecraft death messages with custom ones
• Have multiple messages per death type, chosen randomly
• Has a pre-filled list of 600+ death messages!
• Support for formatting-codes
• Support for player display names
• Add parameters into your messages (<player>, <enemy>, <health>, <weapon>)
• Mute entire death categories (no death messages from that category)
• Mute specific players (upcoming feature)
• Mute specific worlds (upcoming feature)
• Block specific players from receiving messages (upcoming feature)
• Restrict death messages to a certain distance (upcoming feature)
• Optional gravestones functionality (upcoming feature)
• Public API - configure various functions via another plugin (upcoming feature)

How do I install it?

This one is easy; simply drop the plugin .jar file into the plugins folder of your server, and start it up. The plugin will begin working immediately, pulling messages from its pre-built list of 600+ messages!

You can change any messages or settings via the configs in the CompleteDeaths2 config folder.
