CommunityBridge
Updates are at our Spigot page.

Community Bridge links up your Minecraft player accounts to their corresponding website/forum/CMS accounts. It uses the web application's groups to assign players to permissions groups and stores various bits of information about the player in the forum's database.
Please use the issue system to submit bug reports, feature/enhancement requests and support requests.
UUIDs Most of the programming is done. Lots and lots and lots of testing to do, however.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- Which permissions plugin is in use.
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true. It can be turned off specifically for CommunityBridge in CommunityBridge's config.yml. Before turning it off, please read my explanation of why you should leave it turned on: Why Plugin Metrics?

Posted Dec 4, 2013@Eelviny: Turned out it was a bug in CommunityBridge, I had some logic flipped. I've uploaded a new release, so a fixed version should be available as soon as it goes through the verification process.

Posted Dec 3, 2013I started using the latest version a few days ago with Xenforo 1.2.2 - I can send my setup if you want. However, I'm unable to test it as I'm having problems with CB connecting to Vault. Is this a 1.7.2 Bukkit/Vault problem or something else?

Posted Dec 2, 2013@MCCharlieCraft: I don't have a copy of Xenforo to test against, I was able to obtain a copy of the schema at one point. This means that I can make educated guesses as to how to configure for Xenforo. I've put together a quick pass at a 2.x config.yml that might have the right settings in it. Obviously, it can't be used as is.
Probably the most valuable parts of it to you will be the player-linking section and the web-app-config.
Since I don't have data, only the schema, I can't guess at what group id #'s there might be, so the group-id mapping section you'll have to come up with yourself. Remember to indent it correctly with spaces and that the pattern is 123:'guest', where 123 is the xenforo group id and guest is the permissions group name.
Also, don't forget to _create_ any permissions groups you plan to use using the mangadd command. CB+GroupManager won't create them on the fly, you have to create them in advance.
If you have a config you think partly works, you can submit an issue, with a copy of the config and any errors you've seen and we'll try to guess at what is going wrong. :)

Posted Dec 2, 2013I've been using a very outdated version of this plugins for a very long time now simply because I have never been able to get any of the current versions to update the player groups in game.
I use Xenforo, and GroupManager, and with identical configs the current versions only go so far as to find out my user id and minecraft name, then completely ignores anything group id related.
I really want to use an updated version of this plugin but it just makes me end up feeling stupid.

Posted Nov 28, 2013@InsomniaCraft: If you want synchronization from the game to the forums or two-way synchronization, you need to use the 2.x beta release.
The gist you linked to is a sample configuration for 2.x. I should probably label those as such.
I've just uploaded beta5. I recommend waiting for its approval before downloading installing 2.x, since it has several fixes, including one that is important to group synchronization on most permissions systems.

Posted Nov 25, 2013@Feaelin I think what @winter4w was trying to say is, currently, XenForo pushes XenForo groups to your server, when what he (and I) would like to see, is Minecraft pushing it's groups to XenForo.
If this is already possible, how can I do it?
I noticed a few things, this config https://gist.github.com/iain-davis/6072870 looks nothing like my config, but supports the feature we're talking about. Although I did not see GroupManager in that list.
I noticed
Is that what we're talking about, if so, will it be implimented?

Ok I am also wondering how can you make it sync with the secondary groups???? For a EX if someone gets a rank as a secondary group it will rank them to that group on the server.

Posted Aug 26, 2013What might be a nice addition to "rewards for posting" is rewards for certain categories. The suggestions category, for example. When a new thread has been accepted, a player would receive more stuff / money than if it had been posted somewhere else.
This would be a nice way to get players to help servers improve.
