Command Signs
Make signs run commands!
CommandSigns allows you to assign any commands to any block making it easier for your players to do their command-based business!
Required Dependency
- Vault is required for CommandSigns. You can get it here: Vault
Features
- Run commands from signs or any other block with a single click
- Signs can have any other text on them, the commands are linked to the sign behind the scenes
- Elevate user permissions to run any command you choose
- Restrict who can use the sign and when
- Activate your CommandSigns with redstone
How To Use
- Place a sign (or block) and add any writing you want
- Add lines to your clipboard with /commandsigns line<number> <\text or /command>
- Right click the block to make it a CommandSign

Auto Updating
CommandSigns automatically checks for updates in order to keep your server up to date with the latest bug fixes! You can set CommandSigns to update completely automatically in config.yml, or to manually update, type /commandsigns update.

&permission.node,another.permission
it is this node or that node. Is there a way to make it require both nodes?

Posted Dec 30, 2012Love the plugin. Extremely useful. Is it possible to output a random number with this plugin? eg. I want a sign that give players a random amount of EXP with command something like this.... /cmds line1 /exp give <name> <randomnumber>

It's already updated for 1.4.6 essentially. Nothing out of the API we use was changed.
Secondly, if you read the manual, you'll find that you can add as many commands as you like to the sign.

As many commands as you like can be on one sign. /cmds line1, /cmds line2, /cmds line3, etc.

Posted Dec 26, 2012Love the plugin guys, the applications are endless! But I have 2 requests/issues. Please add <randomname> as a variable. Also I am trying to use a signs to issue the command /^server (servername) for Bungee Cord Plugin. The Sign always says "command not found" Any ideas on why it does not register the command. The command does work if typed into chat.

Posted Dec 23, 2012Sorry it's been so long since I've last posted on here! I've become too attached to a few other projects. I'll make sure I update for each Bukkit release though even if there's nothing much to be updated.
I'll do the next release soon. Bukkit ordered me to take off the auto-update feature since it downloads the JARs from a site other than Bukkit Dev which isn't allowed. Once I get over this hurdle, I'll make a new release.

I think there are quite a few permissions issues with Vault at the minute. There's nothing our side that we can do about that sorta stuff - we rely on what Vault tells us.
