Comfort - Sit on configurable seat blocks
The Comfort plugin is a rewrite of my old Chairs plugin. It makes it possible to use any blocks (even custom blocks through SpoutPlugin) as seats so that you are able to sit down on them. The plugin achieves this by sending packets to the clients to make them believe a player is sitting on a block. There will be the possibility to lay down on blocks (like in beds) in the future, too.
How To:
To sit down on a seat, you simply have to rightclick on the defined block.
- If you have the "sneaking"-option in the config.yml enabled, you have to sneak while rightclicking.
- If you have set the "distance"-option to a value higher than 0, you have to be close enough to the block to be able to sit down.
To stand up from a seat, you have to rightclick on it. You can also destroy the seat to stand up.
The config.yml contains an explanation to all the options you can set, please read it before asking questions.
Commands & Permissions:
comfort.*
- Grants access to all the commands and features of the plugin.
comfort.reload
- /comfort reload - Reloads the Comfort configuration file.
comfort.sit
- Sit down on seats.

Thx to Cueball61, i use his Version (i name it Comfort_1.1) and i add ALL Stairs and Slabs
in to the config.yml inside the jar, MC-Version 1.3.1 (i name it Comfort_1.2)<- download
If u dont see all IDs after starting with this 1.2, delete ur old config and restart.
I test all "Chairs" and they work with 1.3.1-R0.1 (Build #02281)

but i need some help with another problem :
i don't use any permissions because i use a Server for 4/6 persons. If i use your plugin only the Admin (me) can sit on the chairs.
i want that everyone can sit on chairs.
maybe you can help me.

The following fixes have been made:
Fixed the issue with getting out within the seat block by saving the player's location. Now when the player exits the seat they will return to their previous location.
Spoothie also added the option to only sit if you have an empty hand, solving the below issue with people accidentally sitting down while building roofs and such. This is included in my build.

Posted Jun 17, 2012Great plugin, but is it possible to use keys not already defined in Minecraft or no?
Holding shift becomes a problem. I was standing on a roof using stairs to build it and I kept accidentally sitting down and glitching through the building. Happened so many times, I had to remove the plugin.
If you have to use shift then having a command to turn it on and off would do. Everyone on my server gets stuck when placing stairs as roofs because they're crouching to avoid falling.
Another issue, you can fall through the things you sit on pretty easily. One of my friends accidentally bugged into a massive redstone chamber from sitting on something.

Sometimes with armor legs, that happens.
Apart from these flaws I like the plugin. It looked good when a few of my players were sitting in different spots of my kitchen. :]

Posted Jun 12, 2012New bugs I've found apart from only being able to use wooden stairs as chairs. When in creative mode (which I use in my survival server since I can :P), after exiting a stair, it seems to simulate being in survival mode. By this, I've noticed the crunching leg sounds when falling from heights (which doesn't happen in creative mode) and, more importantly, not being able to fly by double tapping space. I can fix this by changing my gamemode to survival then back to creative.
Lastly, something I think you might want to change is putting the player on top of the chair block instead of at the bottom of it when exiting. Not only does it look funny when a player is standing inside of a block, but it also has the potential of traps (stair blocks with an non-visible big drop underneath, which the player would fall through upon exiting).
Hope you fix these bugs! Not really worth taking over a plugin if you don't update past the initial release, but I sure hope you do! Thanks :)
