CombatLog punishes players who log out in an attempt to escape combat

Features:
- Easy-to-understand configuration file.
- Able to customize messages and disable unwanted features.
- Use /tag or /ct to check tag time.
- Remove players' Combat tags if they disconnect because of lag or if they were kicked.
- Block commands (using a blacklist/whitelist), teleportation, and enderpearls.
- Remove invisibility potions, disguises, or fly mode, upon entering Combat.
- Display CombatTags on an ActionBar.
Permissions:
- combatlog.bypass - Ability to bypass all of CombatLog's log prevention methods. (Default NONE)
- combatlog.reload - Ability to reload combatlog.yml. (Default OP)
- combatlog.update - Ability to see UpdateChecks upon logging in. (Default OP)

I don't understand the way you're describing the bypass. Let me see if this is right: you're saying that when someone types just /home it's blocked but if they type /home myhome it doesn't get blocked, is that what you're saying?
Also, I'll look into the kill message, although I am already beginning to revise the messages in CombatLog v1.0.0.

Posted Nov 20, 2012OK have i have tested it and it did block /f home and such one problem i noticed is that it can be bypass like for example on /home name is there a way so that it will block the command and its branches like /home , /f warp.
Kill: Enabled: true Message: '&cYou have been killed for CombatLogging!'
Also on that area i can't seem to apply a color every time i add. Using the § it works but there seems to be an extra letter that shows before the message Ä

Sure thing, won't take long at all. I'll add it to the many new features of the full release of CombatLog. Those features already include: Tempban, Fine, Better Custom Messages, Commands, Should be fun. :)

Posted Nov 19, 2012Can you add an option to disable this in certain worlds? I have a warzone world on my server where loadouts are provided to fight for competition and fun. If someone logs out in this world while in combat, they lose their regular survival world inventory. It would be great if I could disable combat log in that world to prevent this. Thanks.

I have a question about the bypass permission.
I have a dedicated World for factions and i only want combatlog to work in that World. The other Worlds may have pvp arenas or similar, so tagging could happen outside factions World. I also have hunger games in dedicated Worlds, so combattaggin in HG World isnt something i want.
I have given combatlog.bypass to all Worlds then negating the permission for the dedicated faction World.
But i still get messages that i have left combat after the tag duration have expired.
any suggestions on how to best setup the perms? or is the messages just information with tagging disabled?

That's exactly what I've been aiming to do. Running into issues with it. Going to see if I can get some help from a friend of mine. Along with that I'm adding a Fine punishment, where if a player CombatLogs, when they log back in it'll take a configurable amount of money from their balance and send a customizable message.

Hmm, I'll see what I can do. As of right now, it doesn't detect whether the player has been kicked, nor does it cancel Combat upon restarting. I have a vague idea as to how I can do both. As of right now, no promises, but this may quite possibly be part of the next update. Please stay tuned.

Is it detect if the Client/Game crash or the player is kicked/banned ?
my server is restarting every 3 hours and the last plugin drop the inventory of the players in fight the comes restarting.
