CombatLog punishes players who log out in an attempt to escape combat

Features:
- Easy-to-understand configuration file.
- Able to customize messages and disable unwanted features.
- Use /tag or /ct to check tag time.
- Remove players' Combat tags if they disconnect because of lag or if they were kicked.
- Block commands (using a blacklist/whitelist), teleportation, and enderpearls.
- Remove invisibility potions, disguises, or fly mode, upon entering Combat.
- Display CombatTags on an ActionBar.
Permissions:
- combatlog.bypass - Ability to bypass all of CombatLog's log prevention methods. (Default NONE)
- combatlog.reload - Ability to reload combatlog.yml. (Default OP)
- combatlog.update - Ability to see UpdateChecks upon logging in. (Default OP)

Posted Feb 18, 2013All is almost good but.... Plugin causes huge lagspikes. Not only on join. It is worse and worse ! Banning not present but it was in old version. And lot of:

Posted Feb 16, 2013You should be able to rewrite this to be much more lightweight by making better use of threads and making sure you close the thread after it's been used.
It would seem the lag is being caused by whatever method you're using to check if the player should be punished when they log in. Certainly doesn't need to be laggy as this could also be done in a separate thread so that it doesn't effect the rest of the server. If you want some help on this let me know. :)

Not sure. It needs some testing, but I've heard that it is. I only released it because people were complaining about some bugs. Craig is going to do a recode of it when he can. His version should indefinitely eliminate the lag, but it could be a while before he gets around to it.

Posted Feb 11, 2013I understand you're busy, but please make it so players items drop before they combat log instead of after. Because if they die after then there is no point in the plugin. However, I really love your plugin so I hope you fix this huge issue in your next plugin update :)

Yah, I know. I made it kill the player on join in the last update to see if it would fix the issue that people were complaining about; players respawning in the same location. I'm working on a new version of CombatLog with CraigEge now.

Craig and I are doing an overhaul of CombatLog. Craig estimates the date of arrival to be this weekend if all goes as planned.
