Color Portals
Color Portals lets users create portals in game with little effort and no commands to type!
Using wool, a sign, a pressure plate, and a button, players can create their own portals!

Optional Commands:
- /portal info or /cp info - Use while standing in or looking at a portal to get more information on the portal and where it warps to.
- /portal list or /cp list - Displays how many portals are registered on the server.
Color Portals is by far the easiest to use portal plugin to date and is also the most fun. People on your server will not be able to get enough!
I have put many hours of work into this plugin and it is my hope than anyone who enjoys the features it brings to their server will donate.

If you do not want to use permissions, go into the config file and change usePerms to false. Do this by opening your server folder, go to the plugins folder, find the ColorPortals folder, and open config.yml. Just change "usePerms: true" to "usePerms: false" then save the file. Then either start or restart your server for changes to take effect. Let me know if you need more help.

I havent tested it but it should work fine with 1.5
EDIT: Just tested it with 1.5 Bukkit dev build and the portals still work fine but the last sign in the chain displays "INACTIVE". Still works fine it just doesnt get updated visually. Will fix this and release a 1.5 build.

I replicate by.... making portals and just waiting lol. After a while, they seem to stop working. The stop working in the exact order you create them too.

I am not sure what is causing portals to deactivate by themselves. I have not changed any of the saving or loading portals to files so I am not sure. I will look into it though. If anyone can replicate the bug exactly and tell me I can fix it faster.

Posted Mar 8, 2013Well. Today I logged in and saw that every portal was not working. They weren't destroyed, everything on the signs is how it was and looks perfect.
But for some reason, i have to remake every portal sign for it to warp. Nothing happens when you stand on the pressure plate and hit the switch. No error comes up in the console.
Any ideas?

# I just noticed that when you break a block, it wont even change the sign to Destroyed. ugh. lolThanks for the cool plugin nonetheless, i love it!
Update
All the portals seem to stop working, after some period of time. They stop working the order that I make them too.-

Ohh, I see. Yes, I would like to know what plugins can do that. At this moment, I use Essentials and WorldGuard for protections. WorldGuard is for regions of course, Can you help me about it?

Currently there is no way to restrict portal use by world or by specific portals. There are other plugins that protect regions that you can use. This protected region would not let people unregistered for that region to click buttons (thus preventing portal use for that player) so this would work as a solution to your problem. Let me know if you need more help.

Posted Mar 7, 2013Hello, how can I disable some people o some group from Essentials to use an specific portal? I mean, for example...
I want all the people to use the portal that goes to the World2, but I don't want the Default players to use the portal that goes to Creative World.

Even though the portals are under protection, if a player tries to break a block, and cant, it will still cause the portal to break.
