CMD Potions
Description
Command potions is a very simple easy to use bukkit plugins that lets you set potion effects by using commands, there is lots of customisability which means you can change everything about the potion, including the effect, the time (in seconds) and level of the potion. This is also my very first plugin and I will be adding more features as I go. A great advantage of this plugin is that is makes potions really easy to use off command signs and command blocks, making it really easy to set-up fun mini games like mazes obstacle courses. (You can also have multiple potions at once)How To Use
It is very easy to use the potion command, all you do is type /cmdpotion then, the potion type (listed below), the time the potion is going to last (in seconds), the level of the potion and then the player is optional (if no player is entered then it just gives it to you)/cmdpotion <Type> <Time> <Level>
/cmdpotion <Type> <Time> <Level> {Player}
Custom Messages
Since v1.3.0 a very easy to use way has been implemented so you can set custom messages when a potion effect is given. It is very easy to use and all you need to do is add -m to the end of your command. (This only works when setting it to another player and ignores the config setting) Also it is important that instead of spaces you use "_", once you send the command through, it changes to a space. (See example below)/cmdpotion <Type> <Time> <Level> <Player> -m <Message>
Example:
/cmdpotion Speed 10 3 jamieis8 -m This_is_a_test
Removing Potion Effetcs
Since v1.4.0 you can easily remove potion effects for youself, for other people or all the players on the server, by using the commands below/cmdpotion remove
/cmdpotion remove {player}
/cmdpotion remove all

Posted Mar 7, 2013Nice plugin. This is fun to use. But may I suggest something like instead of just giving the potion effect, maybe add a command to give that potion as an item to the player? I'm not too sure how to do that other than by installing other stuff.
Just a suggestion/request.

/cmdpotion box <BoxName> <PlayerName>
function "box" contain multiple effects. "box" located in the new config.
Example in the new config:
TextBox:
- Effect wither 10 1
- Effect slow 10 1
- Pause 5
- Effect confusion 10 1
TextBox2:
- Effect regeneration 5 3
- Pause 5
- Effect confusion 30 1
Berserk:
- Effect regeneration 15 1
- Effect strength 15 1
- Pause 15
- Effect confusion 60 1
Trolling:
- Effect wither 1000 3
- Effect blindness 1000 1
- Effect confusion 1000 1
- Effect slow 1000 5
- Pause 5
- Effect remove
And more...
Effect - give player effect.
Effect remove - remove all effects from player.
Pause - Pause in seconds.

Posted Mar 4, 2013Sorry for my ignorance, but would it be possible to get the "Potion" as a flask instead of a immediate buff? I was thinking, if a Admin did
/cmdpotion <Type> <Time> <Level> <Player> -m <Message> -p 10
They could give the player 10 Flasks to use whenever they want, or even give to other. But that might not be possible with the MC mechanics?

This update includes a remove potion command, literally tonnes of new permission nodes and also a fix to a bug with the wither effect. This also has some changes to the config, so please delete your old one.
