Server Side X-Ray!

About

I allways wanted my users to be able to use xRay, and now they can, no client mod required!

Usage

Make sure you have the Xray.see permission and you are set! Use /see to start X-Raying' and Re connect to the server to stop.

Features

-Server plugin, but only the user sees the changes to the world - no damage to your world!
-Turns grass, stone, dirt and sand to glass!

Planned features

-A way to turn off the x-ray without reconnecting to the server

It is a really simple plugin; just send a block change packet for grass. Sadly, with bukkit making it really hard to use nms code, I had to stop supporting it. I would love to see the plugin you make. Pm me when it's ready :D

start with the /unsee command, if that works maybe you could add other things like configuration of what blocks they want to see? (remember to make permissions for when they arrnt allowed to put things on/off)

its a great plugin, i use it in combination with oreBfuscater and it gives an even better outcome

it diddn't do what i expected, becouse it shows the ore's like they where send already to the client. I wanted my users (or 1 group of my users) to know where they might find minerals, and thanks to orebfuscator and this plugin they can use /see to see where they are, but they wont know which they actual found. picture.

keep up the good work, and try add the /unsee command. ps. if you are going to change the behavior with oreBfuscator, be shure to make a switch in the config please :D

Could you possibly use the same thing where only the client can see the blocks to imitate this plugin that I'd like?

Hey, since this plugin is only in it's experimental stages I'll be more then glad to be one of your testers on my server! Definantly something I wanted to use! Hope it works out and I really hope you continue dev on it! :)

Good luck and I will be keeping an eye on this plugin! :) I'm not sure if you could already do this but is there a way you can log when your mods use this plugin.. if you give them the perms - and is there a way you can log what ores they mine while using it?

@thefishdude I just need to figure out how to send another block update packet but with the real blocks instead of glass. If anyone can help...

I've always wanted to make a server where you everyone can xray without having to download a mod. If you can get the planned feature to work, I'll download it. I'll keep track of this plugin in the meantime. :D

Not really... this is a SERVER SIDE mod, so it only works on SERVERS. You're thinking of CLIENT SIDE X-RAY MODS which are a different thing.
