ClearLagg


Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.

Posted Jan 12, 2015Bob it's the plugin every now and then it will clear and I get errors. I did not mess up the config. I actually didn't even touch it. After placing "ARMOR_STAND" under the mobs filter, the errors were appearing less but then it wasn't recognizing rabbits and other mobs so I had to remove it. Without this plugin there are no errors.

Clearlag doesn't directly modify Itemframes or maps so it's most likely either A) A packet related issue, or B) The server doesn't render maps correctly

Posted Jan 10, 2015I see you can have the config set to issue a command if the tps drops below a set number. Is it also possible to have it then wait x seconds and issue another?
My reasoning
I have an intermittent issue, /timings just gives me an average over the set time BUT, if i could use ClearLagg to execute the command /timings on THEN x seconds later issue /timings paste
You understand? I would get an average for when the tps drops and see what the culprit is

Posted Jan 10, 2015Anyone aware of problems with 1.8 Maps placed in item frames not updating? I have a large wall of 1:4 maps, they can not be updated, copies can not be updated. Have tested this with several map and areas.
They did update before ClearLagg was installed.
Currently maps that have not yet been put in item frames update themselves and their copies?
Is there a workaround for this issue, it is a feature or some sort of bug?
Edit - Logging out and back in while holding the map resets the ability to update it.

It works perfectly with 1.8. I tested it for around 6 hours, nothing abnormal happened..? Here is my config: http://pastebin.com/KGCSRv05
I feel the majority of you getting bugs are simply mis-configuring the plugin. The section "mobs:" under the removals is NOT a filter - it defines which mobs clearlag SHOULD remove.
Still getting bugs? Post a ticket. I'm working on a new build atm but simply can't find any bugs to even fix. Help me help you.

Posted Jan 9, 2015I also can not find a 1.8 build anywhere, can I get a link to a 1.8 version? People have been getting armor stands cleared and losing good armor.
