ClearLagg

Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.

- Permission support
- Entity limiter
- Reduces lag
- Decreasing RAM/CPU usage
- Ability to stop a TNT chain reaction
- Option to limit mob spawners
- Locate overcrowded/abused chunks
- Many easy to use commands
- Real-time module controls
- Very lightweight - only enables selected features
- Remove old logs upon enabling server
- Limit AI processing attributes
- Console support for most commands
- Can adjust times when the server is cleared of lagg
- Completely configurable

When sponge is released i'll port it to sponges API. Until then, no.
Also 1.8 users, if you're having a bad TPS post your timings. It'll help me optimize the plugin more for 1.8.

custom-mobspawner overrides the vanilla mobspawner. It has many options to control the spawning. If you're using spigot, you should be ok without it.

Posted Jul 5, 2015I seem to be having some problems with this plugin. I've reset the config a couple times, and I've narrowed the problem down to the "custom-mobspawner:" section. If that is true, I have no mobs/few mobs spawning, and absolutely none in the nether. Is there a way I can fix this? Are there dev builds that have already fixed this issue?
I'm using the default config options for this section, if you would like my full config, let me know.

Your config has YAML errors, so it's not being read.
http://codebeautify.org/yaml-validator
Run it through that, and fix it.
Here is a fixed version of your config for you: http://pastebin.com/m4M9GJAu
Also learn basic YAML stuff. You appear to be using # in front of some of your values for whatever reason. # toggles whether or not the line is a comment.

You probably didn't FULLY read the config. Setting a single minecart to false doesn't make all the clear types ignore the minecart

Minecart to false still removed hopper minecarts.

It should work flawlessly on any 1.8 build aside from mob-AI range.

Posted Jun 23, 2015Can the command /lagg halt be done on console as well.
i wanted to set this command to auto run, but it's disabled on console.
@bob7l my server don't crash often, but laggs very very easily. Tps drop insanely.
I only found your plugin to be a temporary fix and Im glad Clear Lagg exists!!!!!

You should have WorldEdit and some form of Block logging plugin installed. I would use the block logging plugin and roll back changes made by those hackers. Easy simple fix a server owner should already have known.

Could you make a ticket (labeled as feature, not bug) with pictures and more information on this crashing sign thing? Atm clearlag does nothing with tilentities but if you provide me with some more information i can possibly provide a feature that controls chunk tile entities to prevent this.

Posted Jun 22, 2015OK so, we just opened up our server, I am head of development, and we got hackers on. They put up a crash sign at spawn, which is a major pain in case you don't know. I would like to know if it would be possible to configure the ClearLagg plugin to also clear signs. It may or most certinaly will clear other player's signs, butthat is a small price for us to pay in order to save our server. If it is possible, already, please tell me where I can find such a config, and if it is not, please try to add it in, if not for our sakes, then for others. Thank you, and have a nice day.

Also, what does /lagg halt do. I want to know all the features that it disables.
