ClearLagg


Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.

Posted May 12, 2015Hi I run a pixelmon server, which has custom mobs that act as animal entities. I was trying to use the TPS-Metor to run the killmobs and unloadchunks every 2 minutes regardless of the TPS. So I have the config set up as follows:
enabled: true interval: 120 tps-trigger: 20.00 commands: - 'lagg killmobs' - 'lagg unloadchunks'
No matter what I config, the interval never goes off at the correct timed input. Also when it did go over it spammed the kill mobs command.
I am also using the latest version, but I have tried all of the others with no success.

Awesome plugin you have made. Its very useful for my tiny server and makes me be able to use more slots and less lag.
However since 1.8 came out it has some issues. I guess you have been hearing that from other people aswel.
For some reason people's animals they have in their claim dissapear. That also counts for Armor stands.
I would like clearlag not to remove those things, Anyway to fix this? Kind regards, Alex WireleZz

It doesn't directly support multi-line but you may be able to create a new line using \n.
Like so: Message: 'TopLine \n Middle Line \n BottomLine

Posted Apr 19, 2015I run a prison server and it seems that there is an issue with clear lagg not removing entities if there is no player there so in mines that may have dropped items in them doesn't get cleared when the auto removal removes entities. Anyone know why this is?

Posted Apr 15, 2015Very useful plugin. Along with SaveDeathDrops, it does exactly what it's meant to do, without any hiccups, in our case.
Now if it had an option to ignore or skip mobs with nametags... I don't say! :D

Posted Apr 5, 2015I see THIS in our server's log.
It would seem that it's only happened after we updated to Spigot/Bukkit 1.8.3 (build #35), whereas the log showed no issues with 1.8.1
Is this something I can just ignore for the time being, or does it somehow compromise ClearLagg's functionality. Please advise.
Basically, we need ClearLagg to just clear all ground items (about every hour), as to compensate for Disable Item Despawn (because 5 minutes despawn is just too fast).

That's not actually anything to do with lagg control!
This is down to the core functionality of the server software
Also, if you use Spigot it has the option to look at lighting, which works great for us.
