ClearLagg


Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.

Posted Jun 20, 2014ClearLag v2.6.3 autoupdate can not be off, set auto-update: false in config.yml does not work, ClearLag still updates itself after server restart. I can only fix this by # chattr +i Clearlag.jar
My server is not compilable with latest clearlag.

Posted Jun 19, 2014There's a dupe-bug with this plugin installed. Apparently players can throw items into a nether portal, walk through, and collect x2 items on the other side. Only works with ClearLagg installed. Using CL 2.7.1 in Spigot 1.7.9

Posted Jun 18, 2014I would like to thank you for this plugin. It sorted our lag problems. After spending time on Bukkit and Spigot IRC with everyone stating it was because I had too many worlds going, it turns out someone had a skeleton spawner that had an arrow glitch causing too many entities. (/lagg chunk - thank you!)
I hope people appreciate your efforts as much as I do.

Could you be more explicit please? I guess it stops checking for safe places to spawn mobs and such but then, what does it do and what will it let the server do. I was thinking of putting this in the action of te TPS meter trigger effect. But I'm afraid there is no way to call the server to unhalt or something. And even then, I have no idea if it's a good idea to ask the server to do so at the TPS trigger point.

Posted Jun 8, 2014since a short while ago (cant remember exactly when but within the last week or 2) the server i am an admin on has had problems where clear lagg has attempted to unload chunks and failed resulting in a crash. I am not terribly tehnologicaly adept so i was hoping one of you might know why this might be. the pack is called INFINIX and while we do have a ridiculous number of mods, until this started we had not experienced any dificulties with the plugin. the only mods we added semirecently (to my knowledge) are extra utilities and mystcraft (we did have quite a few mystworlds and are currently trimming them away)
