ClearLagg


Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.

On my server, I cannot get 5 plugins to work, supposedly for all the same reason, but I can't figure out how to correct it! (ClearLag included) This is the start up log for my server.

I've also set the broadcast auto clear announcement to false, but it is still displaying in the chat. Ideas?

Im having a issue with mobs, painting, item frames and minecarts, it still removing them but i disabled these on config, another thing, after restart it reset the config.
Can you help me please? here is my config.

Posted Jun 7, 2014Having reports of this taken bees from build craft pipe while clear lag removes items. Only if clear lag happens when the bees are in pipes . I added all bees and pipes to items not to clear and it's still taken then

Posted Jun 5, 2014I think you should bear in mind that players also like to have a reliable server and do get raged when their horses paintings just disappear... Awesome to have the option to remove if there is a problem but not as default...

Because paintings seem to be a large source of both FPS lagg and chunk errors so it's better to just remove them then to risk loosing a section of the map.

Whenever the lagg area command is run, all of the leads that are attached from mobs to fence posts are removed. Also, horses are randomly removed, and I am not sure if that is related to your plugin. Outside of this, great work! Any assistance is much appreciated.

Posted May 31, 2014Hey, I remember you! :o Anyway, I would like to request /clearlagg lightfix or something similar. I know that NoLagg has this, but ClearLagg is way better in my opinion and has more functions, although that's the USP of NoLagg for me. I don't want to switch although I pasted in a huge building with WorldEdit, leading to many lighting issues and I need it all fixed. :/

turns out it was people using enchant 1000 picks and looting 1000 swords causing massive item drops which lagged it out
also another question while Im here, for the dispenser reducer, is that each dispensers can only fire once every 100ms? or 1 dispencer across the server every 100ms? or is it 100 seconds?

The only possible issue i can think of is the entity's UUID is fucked up. I'm not sure if spigot has it's own chunk loading system, but the compatibility seems to bug bad with spigot chunk related API.

You can either use PerWorldPlugins to disable it in the world with your shop. Or the shop Items you sell add them to the Filter List so they are not removed, Then to prevent players from dropping these Items in the list to cause Lag/Crashes you can change the LIVETIME of the items so they disappear quicker. Also you can set up the Chunk Entity Limiter to prevent Lags/Crashes from players.
As of right now those are the only 2 ways I know of to prevent that issue.
