ClearLagg


Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.

Forcibly unload unused Chunks... Especially compatible with mod blocks forcing chunks to be loaded (Not World Anchors and stuff but Redpower blocks and stuff).
It will automatically unload the chunks while it removes the entities.

Posted Feb 26, 2014I think that adding mobs to remove to the config doesn't change anything in the way the plugin works. My horses are being killed every single time the cleaner runs, although they are not in the list anymore...

The purpose of keeping it in memory is that is heavily traveled and therefore people want it to load faster hence keeping it in memory.

Posted Feb 24, 2014Whoa, Clearlag just cleared 2 hours of Maps I made to show spawns in World2, Be cautious of this, I think it looks at Maps as paintings, right? Anyway it cleared them, and the frames they were in. These were in the Spawn area and I also had it set to keep spawn in memory so that may have been the problem too. What is the purpose of keeping spawn in memory?, so users don't fall out of the world or something?.. :(

Yes I am having the same issue. :) It's clearing mobs that I have set under the mob filter. All the animals and villagers have disapeared. I even edited the custom clear yml folder. People can't trade with villagers and are sad when they lose their farm animals especially when they are under survival.

Posted Feb 20, 2014Is it possible to configure different times for when clear lag should occur on different maps say I want it to occur once everyday on 1 map then occur once every 30 minutes on another so I can have a kit pvp map with it occurring more often.

Posted Feb 19, 2014I run a pixelmon server and the only problem i am having with this plugin is that when people are trying to catch a pokemon while clear lagg runs it traps them in the battle and they have to log off to get out of the battle and lose the pokeball and the pokemon. is there anyway i can fix that? please help

Posted Feb 17, 2014I stopped using this because I can't stop this plugin from clearing all my passive mob farms. I keep turning things off in the config, but it doesn't seem to matter. I think it's not really ready for prime time or it's too aggressive and ignores settings.. Besides that, the settings are way more complicated than they need to be.
If you can tell me how to keep it from clearing the passive mobs on restart, I'll probably use it and promote it. Otherwise.. It's a bad deal on my server.
