ClearLagg


Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.

Posted Jan 14, 2014I really need help with my server. So I've been using ClearLagg for a while and it's great. I have it set to kill all mobs and clear entities every 10 minutes. I used to just do /killall every once in a while and the most I ever killed was like 100, usually around 30-40 mobs killed. So now with ClearLagg it helps a ton in doing this for me. Up until earlier yesterday, every ten minutes when ClearLagg went off and cleared entities, it would be like 300-400 entities! Same if I do /killall! I don't know what changed to make so many mobs spawn but it is very annoying and is causing a bit of lag. Here's my config for ClearLagg that was working just yesterday but now the mob limit won't. Please help!

If a chunk in unloaded you don't have to worry about it's entities.

Posted Jan 13, 2014Does anybody know how unloaded chunks work? Without this plugin, do drops on the ground in unloaded plugins affect server performance? If i use this plug in will it clear all chunks or just loaded chunks?

Posted Jan 8, 2014I imagine the answer is yes, but I want to verify just to make sure:
Do entities respawn after clearing them? I'd hate to kill off all my livestock and they be extinct forever! Or never have any monsters ever again.
Also what about item entities? Does this affect them? Things like item frames are entities, and I don't want to clear them when running the command.

Posted Jan 7, 2014hi i'm worndering what people use for tekkit classic mc-1.2.5 because i can't get notifications from this plugin to work. I've been on a few servers running tekkit classic that appear to be using this plugin but either its a hidden feature in the config or this site doesn't have the download for their version. so can somebody post a config for tekkit classic or point me in the direction of a similar plugin that notifies my players before it kicks in. Thanks.

Posted Jan 5, 2014You have no idea what a gem this plugin is. Dude, you saved our server from a lot of downtime. A staff member and I were goofing off and edited in 78,000 TNT blocks, only to have a skeleton set them on fire. The chain reaction kept killing our server before we could manage to get things under control.
Moving across our map very slowly and using your plugin to clear entities, we were able to recover. If I could buy you a beer, I certainly would.

Posted Jan 5, 2014Howdy, I have a problem. When you insert a plugin for the treated in any way, even if it is by default, so I deleted all the time animals. And even the villagers and monsters.

Posted Dec 30, 2013Is there a way to stop from removing drops? I use it for a small survival server and players need to be able to use mob grinders and collect eggs from a chicken pen. Thx!
