Chunk Viewer
This plugin allows you to view the corners of the chunk you are standing in. You can view 4x4, 8x8 and 16x16 size chunks.
It has 1 command: /viewchunks [4/8/16] or /vc [4/8/16] with the permission chunkviewer.use
This command will light up the corners of the chunk with glowstone. However only the player that used the command will see the corners. Meaning that others will not be bothered when someone else uses the command.
This plugin, as it is right now, is just a proof of concept. I want to know if there is interest in this kind of tool. I will add more features when requested.

that's great thanks! I don't know why It hasn't had more downloads, I spent a long time looking for a plugin that does this. Its a must have for any towny server!

Posted May 14, 2012Hello, This plugin is such a great idea, it helps out so much, especially with layout of towny plots. Would it be possible to add a single permissions node so I can restrict who uses it?

The 1.1-R6 version still works fine on 1.2.5. But if you want an update you can get one :)

Posted Mar 24, 2012Galexrt, there are other plugins for that purpose, this is not a protection plugin but one which shows chunk borders.
Also, Maybe you could plant wil grass at the borders, because it isn't too bothering and can be easily built on.

Posted Mar 12, 2012can you make this so too that like i say i want a 15x15 area surrounded by fence does you can add this to the plugin, that there will be a abillity to generate surounded areas. And maybe you'll can add support for griefprevention. So that we can make square areas like 15x15 or other values. If you dont know what i mean i'll make a vid about what i mean.(Im german so i think you'll not understand everything or?)

16x16 is default when you use /vc or /viewchunks.
I like the light idea, but I don't know if I can do that with the Bukkit API.

Posted Mar 11, 2012I'm really interested, since making stuff chunk-align always is a mess at the moment. Would totally use this in my server when it goes up! But I think it would be more comfy if you could just change the light levels on the border blocks so they differ strongly from the ones surrounding, so you could still build there. Also, make 16² chunks default.
