ChatManager+

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.



ChatManager+ will soon be updated and moved to Spigot and compiled against the 1.8 spigot jar. Bukkit may be incompatible with the plugin.


Features:

Commands:

  • /chatmanagerplus - The help & reload command.

  • /broadcast - Broadcast a message to the server, with a custom prefix.

  • /abroadcast - Broadcast a message to the server, with no prefix.

  • /clearchat [player | all] - Clear people's chat.

  • /lockchat - Lock the chat so nobody can chat.

  • /mute - Mute specific players so they can't chat.

Aliases:

  • /cmp, /chatmanp, /chatmanager, /chatman, /cm - Aliases for /chatmanagerplus.

  • /bcast, /bc - Aliases for /broadcast.

  • /abcast, /abc - Aliases for /abroadcast.

  • /cc - Alias for /clearchat.

  • /lc - Alias for /lockchat.



Permissions:

  • chatmanagerplus.reload - Allows you to reload the plugin.

  • chatmanagerplus.config.set - Allows you to set an option in the config.

  • chatmanagerplus.config.get - Allows you to get an option's value from the config.

  • chatmanagerplus.broadcast - Allows you to use /broadcast

  • chatmanagerplus.broadcast.anonymous- Allows you to use /abroadcast

  • chatmanagerplus.clearchat - Allows you to use /clearchat (clears your own chat)

  • chatmanagerplus.clearchat.others - Allows you to use /clearchat <player> (clears someone's chat)

  • chatmanagerplus.clearchat.all - Allows you to use /clearchat all (clears everyone's chat)

  • chatmanagerplus.lockchat - Allows you to use /lockchat

  • chatmanagerplus.lockchat.exempt - Allows you to chat when the chat is locked.

  • chatmanagerplus.mute - Allows you to use /mute

  • chatmanagerplus.mute.exempt - Exempts you from being muted.

  • chatmanagerplus.chatcolors - Allows you to use Color Codes when chatting.

  • chatmanagerplus.chat - Allows you to chat. (This permission will do nothing unless enabled in config.)

All permissions are granted to operators by default.

Note: Not all variables work for every configuration setting.


Installation:

  1. Click the download button in the top right corner of the page.

  2. You will need to click the download button again. The download will occur.

  3. Drag ChatManagerPlus.jar into your plugins folder.

  4. Start your server. A folder named ChatManagerPlus will generate.

  5. Customize your config.yml.

  6. Type "/cmp reload" in-game OR "cmp reload" in your console to reload the config.

  7. Use the plugin!

  • Anti-Spam and Caps Prevention Bot

  • Prefixes and Suffixes?

  • Nicknames.
