As you may know, v1.1.x or v1.2 will be the final release of ChatBot v1.x because of a major rewrite that will be happening. Support for v1.x will continue during the rewrite; bug and issues will likely still be fixed until the release of ChatBot v2.x.

The plan is to add most features from the development to-do list that can be found under the 'Pages' tab. This will allow for a more flexible and reliable experience in updating and using ChatBot. Currently it is difficult to migrate config files with the increasing size and changes to the plugin, it is also not very supportive of the new version of Minecraft that uses UUIDs to track the users. This currently allows players to exploit the plugin and, overall, your server through name changes (bypass mutes, mess with ranks).

Another addition that will follow in ChatBot v2.x is the improved moderation. I plan to allow the plugin to fulfil its description and properly moderate spam, advertising and language with the use of a more flexible configuration. Furthermore, it is likely that ChatBot v2.x will carry more external files to keep the actual configuration file for just configuration options instead of flooded with lists of muted players and the ranks that players' have.

More information on the plugin will follow as it becomes closer to a reality and a fully functioning plugin. Beta releases will likely be released if you wish to trial this new, updated and flexible version.
