CharInfo

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

== CHARINFO: ==

Perms:

  • charinfo.cmd - Access to /ci or /charinfo
  • charinfo.cmd.set - Allows them to change their information
  • charinfo.cmd.info - Lets them see a player's info
  • charinfo.cmd.unlock - Allows a player to unlock a player's info
  • charinfo.cmd.* - All perms

Commands:

  • /ci, /ci help - All display the commands for the plugin for the set and info, unlock are hidden
  • /ci set [tag] [info] - Sets the tag for the player
  • /ci info [player] - Shows the info on a player
  • /ci unlock [player] [tag] - Unlock a tag for a player

Tags:

  • Nick/Name - the name that others will see, changeable, affects the list and speech, placed at the end to show it is a nickname
  • Age - Simply put, their age
  • Race - The player's race, allowed races set up in the races.yml file
  • Desc - A short description

Files:

For plugin functionality, each file is editable using Notepad+ + or an appropriate software. The races.yml is the only file that should be edited, where you can list the races that you want. Caps will matter, and the plugin will auto-correct caps when players select a race.

The default races.yml is as shown:

  1. Human
  2. Elf
  3. Dwarf

Each player file is also configurable IF NEEDED, I do not recommend editing them though. They are set up as followed:

  1. name:
  2. nick:
  3. race:
  4. age: 0
  5. desc:

Please do not mess with those files, as things might happen.

Install: Stop the server, place the CharInfo.jar into the plugins folder, then start the server, then stop it again. Navigate to the /plugins/CharInfo/races.yml and change the races to your liking. Save, then start the server.

Notices: Due to the nature of the plugin, we ask that you do NOT use the /reload command with it, as players already in the game may lose their nicknames, however, a relog should fix that (not confirmed)
