This is a reload of the original Chairs mod by Spoothie. That plugin was no longer being updated so I have continued it here.
This plugin allows players to sit in chairs (stairs).
Installation
- Drop the Chairs jar file in your plugins directory.
- Setup permissions accordingly.

Corner stairs:
Sign:
Commands & Permissions
chairs.reload
- /chairs reload - Reload the Chairs configuration file.
chairs.sit
- Sit down on chairs.
chairs.sit.health
- If the health sitting effects are enabled then players with this permission node are healed while siting.

Okay yeah I see.
Just an idea, maybe you can spawn a falling air block on the block and set the player as its passenger?

Posted Jul 12, 2013I've had this problem with this plugin, and the SitOfSofa plugin as well, and thought I'd mention it here to see if anyone had any advice about this.
It doesn't seem to work on my server. It loads the config files, which I can edit. I plug the permissions in, I update ProtocolLib, but people still are unable to sit. It stopped working at about... 1.5, I think, and I haven't worried much about it until I've gotten higher demand for it.

If there's anything else I oughtta post, tell me. ChairsReloaded is an excellent plugin, and I'd love to be able to use it on my server again.

In 1.5.2 and previous version sending packet byte 4 at index 0 via Packet40EntityMetaData would result in a player sitting, It no longer works. There are no errors. I'm wondering the client needs additional data now to go along with byte 4.

The source code is on github.com. https://github.com/cnaude/Chairs Anyone is welcome to take a crack at getting it to work on 1.6.2. I've been trying a few different things and it's just not working.
