About Chairs Reloaded

This is a reload of the original Chairs mod by Spoothie. That plugin was no longer being updated so I have continued it here.

This plugin allows players to sit in chairs (stairs).

Installation

Drop the Chairs jar file in your plugins directory.
Setup permissions accordingly.

Corner stairs:

Sign:

Commands & Permissions

chairs.reload

/chairs reload - Reload the Chairs configuration file.

chairs.sit

Sit down on chairs.

chairs.sit.health

If the health sitting effects are enabled then players with this permission node are healed while siting.

I've got Bukkit for 1.6.1 dev build running and I've seen a 'bug'... it doesn't check for the proper block type. I put a sign up on a wall and it put me inside of the wall sitting.

This doesn't seem to work at all for me... tried with group permissions, user permissions, permissions false, sign check true, extending the distance... It never lets me sit

edit:

So, after setting 'sneaking: false' it will let me sit..... IF I'm sneaking

Set signcheck to true. This should eliminate the problem because you can only sit in chairs with signs on the side of them.

The plugin seems to be having issues with doors at the top of stairs. If you try to open the door while standing on the stairs it treats the stairs as a chair

What version of CraftBukkit are you running? What does your Chairs/config.yml look like?

Edit: I think I found the problem. I'll get a fix out as soon as possible.

I have no error messages but i can only sit on steps that face west? I had no issues until i updated to 2.1.3 Any idea whats going on?

Chairs only work facing west?? Chairs facing other ways don't work... also there aren't any errors. Is this a MC limitation or a bug??

I have a problem: No matter what I set the maximum chair width to be in the config, it uses the deafualt 3 block limit. If I set it to below 3 blocks, it works as intended, however. This is very annoying, as I would like it to be unlimited. Please help?

Hmm I don't want to do that. There is a better way to make PluginUpdater find the correct website. I'll see if I can get the author to change his plugin.

Could you make the very small change of renaming the downloaded .jar to 'ChairsReloaded' rather than 'Chairs'? The simple reason for this is that I use PluginUpdater by laCourj, as it is extremely convenient, but when I try to use a command like '/update chairs', it gets confused and wants me to actually downgrade to using the originial Chairs plugin by Spoothie.

Is it possible to give more control over Slabs?

To be able to define each of them like stairs in the allowed blocks? Currently only WOOD_STEP is working, all others are a no go unless you put STEP and activate all of them at once.

Can something be done about this?

It apparently made a copy of some gold pants in a players inventory when they sat down and got back up. I was also having the standing issues, however when I installed ProtocolLib it went away. I don't know if the item duplication went away as well.
