About Chairs Reloaded
This is a reload of the original Chairs mod by Spoothie. That plugin was no longer being updated so I have continued it here.
This plugin allows players to sit in chairs (stairs).

Posted Jun 8, 2013The sit-effects seem to not be working. Left everything at default, except switched to "true." Users have the permissions and all. Can anyone confirm?
Also, sitting on non-chair/slab blocks is very bugged. At a sitting-height-adj setting of 1.0, the player appears to be more like 2.0. Actually, any setting 0.8 and higher has that same effect. Anything 0.7 and lower glitches the player inside the block, and at 0.75, the player bounces on the block. Would like to see non chair/slab chairs work correctly. Thanks!

If you spin around in the chair while they are looking does the issue go away?

With ProtocolLib I don't have to update Chairs with every major CraftBukkit version change. You can just keep using the same version of Chairs without waiting for me to upgrade. It may also be slightly more reliable. I recommend it.
I know there are a few people that seem to really dislike ProtocolLib. For them it is now optional as of version 2.1.0.

What are the pros/cons of using ProtocolLib?

Version 2.1.0 has been uploaded and awaits approval. It will use ProtocolLib if detected. If no protocollib then it will fall back to the old method.

I will compile a version that does not require protocollib.

Was doing the same thing, seems the other plugin isn't stable right now so I wouldn't grab it unless you want disconnects.
Shame this needs protocollib, was hoping to add this some of my servers. :(
You can look at Github and possibly compile one that was made without the dependency.

Posted May 6, 2013That indeed did the trick. You should add these things to the documentation...
Anyhow, I found some bugs.
Slabs work fine but wooden slabs don't. You end up sitting 1 block above the wooden slab. Adjusting the sitting height does not have effect on this. And yes, I did double check that the console did in fact say "[Chairs] Allowed block: WOOD_STEP => 0.3" correctly when loading so it's not that either.
As far as I can tell this problem or similiar problem also exists with full sized blocks. You can't properly sit on them. Either you end up high in the air or slide off the block (in this case adjusting the block sitting height does actually do something but you still can't get the desired result - always too high or you slide off the block).
I would appreciate it if you could look into this.
Thanks!
