ChairsReloaded
About Chairs Reloaded
This is a reload of the original Chairs mod by Spoothie. That plugin was no longer being updated so I have continued it here.
This plugin allows players to sit in chairs (stairs).
Installation
- Drop the Chairs jar file in your plugins directory.
- Setup permissions accordingly.

I was not aware ProtocolLib is a buggy monster. What bugs are you referring to?
Note: I run ProtocolLib on the SDF MineCraft server without any issues at all.

I don't really support Spigot. However, the latest build 2.0.2 of Chairs is slightly more thread safe. Give it a try when it's approved.

Awesome, thanks for keeping the plugin alive. So simple, yet so fun and useful.
(Couldn't wait, so I compiled from source and it works great now!)

Add this -XX:-HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError to your java startup options. It will create a heap dump file on the next OOM. I can use that file to hopefully see where the leak might be coming from.

Spoke too soon, server just crashed again:
Not sure if it is chairs or something else (like BKCommonLib), however, being that the server crashed after typing /info and punching a step with nothing in my hand, I have reason to believe it was chairs.

What version of CraftBukkit and Chairs does this occur on? Please also post your config.yml.

Posted Apr 3, 2013It appears you cannot sit if you have an "air block" in your hand, or an empty hand.
I've configured it to not let me sit down if I have a block in my hand, but it seems to have trouble letting me sit down when my hand is empty. Trouble as in it doesn't let me sit down at all.

It's been a few days since I started using 2.0.0 and it seems the OOM errors have been fixed. Thanks!

So far so good.
@cnaude
Yeah, it would be cool to be able to lay down in a bed any time of the day....

I make no guarantee that it will fix OOM errors. If you got those with previous builds please try the new version and let me know if it helps.
I haven't figured out yet how to make laying down work

Posted Apr 1, 2013So the out of memory errors were due to packet generating in -2.0.0, and should be fixed +2.0.0?
By the way, will laying down on blocks ever be implemented as well?

Why? It keeps me from having to recompile after every update. Also I'm sure ProtocolLib is better at packet generation than me.
