let me clarify at least for my case.

I create the slot machine (want them server created only)

Then when I log out or go port away they will just turn into blocks and the slots won't work anymore. it still saves the slot machine and I can delete it with commands but it won't work anymore for me or anyone else.

When i type /casino it says "Displays the Command Guide", none of the commands work. And even after deleting the Folder and jar file, and then putting the jar file back it, and restarting it load our old slots that has slots that are on a world we don't even have, without loading the config ect.

Almost every time yeah. I wasn't able to replicate it at 100%, closer to 90% but I think it is because the chunks had not unloaded every time.

No it happens even if the slot isn't being used.

By default bukkit(or minecraft) unloads a chunk from memory when no one is present or near said chunk for an amount of time unknown to me. When chunks are unloaded, any processes within them freeze. You can notice this if you start a lengthy bout of smelting materials, and log off immediately.

Your plugin bugs the hell out when the chunk the slot machine is in unloads.

It's when the slot machine owner either leaves the chunk (with enough distance for the chunk to unload), or, I believe, when the owner goes offline, the freeze occurs. Any method that keeps the chunk loaded in memory (if you could somehow tie this to the block/chunk that the lottery runs in) will fix this issue.

Summer vacation seems like a convenient excuse to ignore an issue that's been reported for well over a month now. One would think that you're using that solely as an excuse to wait around for someone to fix this for you. If you aren't going to maintain the plugin, pass it off to someone who will, or knows how to.

I found a trick to resolve this problem using the Precious Stones plugin. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/preciousstones/ You can create a PS block with the flag "keep-chunks-loaded", and place it directly underneath the chunk. It will keep the chunk loaded in memory.

Since implementing this, I have not had the slot machine freeze.

Even if you don't want to use Precious Stones for the other block protection options (it's fairly complicated, and can be easily abused), you can disable all of the pre-made blocks, create the one 'keep-chunks-loaded' block, and create a custom permission for it, so no one can use them aside from you.

Any method or plugin that would keep the chunk loaded in memory would stop the issue from occurring. I've seen a few other plugins that are supposed to handle things like keeping chunks loaded, but they seem to perform poorly.

I want to be able to change the order to stop the roulette on setting Slot type.

The default order, right, middle, left Can be changed left, middle, right .....like this

So, I have a problem. At a random time, or when the owner of a slot logs off, their casino is unusable. The slots don't say anything when you hit them. Please help! Respond quickly! Thank you!
