Other Information
Auto-updater
This plugin has a built-in auto-updater, which connects to BukkitDev to check for updates. If you wish to disable this process, you can do so by setting 'Other.UpdateCheck' to false in the config.yml file.
NoCheatPlus
Cars will act strange with an anti-cheat when it comes to using rails and climb blocks. To fix this, edit your config:
envelope:
active: false
Tutorials
I'm trying to create better documented pages for the plugin, but dev.bukkit is shit and won't let me create my own pages (or change the logo of the project).

Posted Apr 10, 2013This plugin is really nice. I'm currently recreating my server. In the server's hub I would like to have players drive cars because I have made some broad streets. The only problem is that the road I made is made of slabs. When you drive on the slabs you go really slow and hop up and down. Is there a way this can be fixed?

Posted Apr 4, 2013If you do add a fuel option dont have it like the other car pluggins make it different- unique. Have it as an item that you have to have in your inventory this way owners can set up shops/gas stations or have it as a mob drop. The other car plugin has it as a buy item. Go better than his :)

Posted Apr 1, 2013I think you uploaded the 3.2 again. It tells me there's an update using 3.3 and also upgrade data is not stored.

Hey, I can't find where to get version 3.3. I download it from the download link on this page and in game the version is 3.2. Also, how come my cars won't drive a straight line? They're wobbly and impossible to control.

Are you using 3.3? If so, I added a option in the config to disable breaking environment. Due to the way Carz it coded, it will drive ontop of ANY item (signs, tallgrass, torches) etc, so this is why it breaks them.

I've noticed this too. Makes carz VERY hard to drive. Also, is there any way to disable Carz destroying signs/doors/torches? I feel it doesn't add anything at all, apart from annoyance.

Interesting idea. Do you mean like a light around the car or an actual model change?

Posted Mar 17, 2013No, there isn't an issue with where I'm looking. The movement isn't parallel with the blocks in my world. Thanks for the feedback though.

Posted Mar 17, 2013I think there is only 2 things to your plugin get perfect: 1- Make an option to choose if the car can "walk" anywhere, or just in the block id's you want. 2- Make fuel system, vault system and item system, like you need X coals or X diamonds as fuel (and you can choose your fuel kind in config. with the item id)

If you read the title "How to Drive", it says look completely straight before you drive and use wasd.

That is a unique problem, so I will not try and implement a fix unless others have the same issue.
The second "issue" you mentioned isn't a bug, its how minecarts work. They point where you move.

Posted Mar 16, 2013I can only drive sideways on my server. Are there any fixes for this problem? I notice that when i place the minecart down it's straight and lined up with my roads, yet when i hit the forward button it gets skewed.

I'm not saying disable it entirely, but just adding an option to in the config?
