Other Information
Auto-updater
This plugin has a built-in auto-updater, which connects to BukkitDev to check for updates. If you wish to disable this process, you can do so by setting 'Other.UpdateCheck' to false in the config.yml file.
NoCheatPlus
Cars will act strange with an anti-cheat when it comes to using rails and climb blocks. To fix this, edit your config:

Posted Jan 9, 2013Didn't work for me. But when I went to double-check Minecars, it turns out it's no longer working either. I know for a fact it worked when I moved to 1.4.6-R0.3, but since then I've been updating Essentials and WorldEdit/Worldguard dev builds all along the way. Perhaps one of those is the culprit for everyone. Here is my plugin list, for what it's worth:

I had a minute at lunch and tried it. Like SYYYNgates, that didn't make any difference. My host uses Java6, and Minecars works fine for me.

i have the same problem with both this plugins and MineCars And they both works complitly fine all the commands work the only thing that doesnt work is the cart moving, its making smoke effect and floating above the ground but other than that it doesnt do anything
im on the beta 1.6 r3 i tried to remove the config but it didint work the console doesnt shows any errors and i tried removing all the plugins exept this and it didint work aswell

Sorry but I had to reinstate Minecars due to user complaints (I run a server for kids aged 8-12). Others have the same problem so hopefully they can assist. I will still keep my eye on this project though.

Fair enough, and now that you mention it, i see your point, it would be a lot easier to jump in and drive, and i have now got this plugin on my server, and players are loving it, :D it has also encouraged me to start building a race course:D thankyou

Posted Jan 7, 2013Hey, I'm definitely gonna try this out on my server, but i was wondering, i have seen a plugin called "ships" where they use signs, to make fuel tanks, and engines, and other things, and it makes the ship you have made move, i was thinking maybe you could do that with carz make it so u can like build a car put signs with fuel on them, fill the fuel and make a steering wheel with a sign so you actually feel like you are driving, but eve still, I'm going to try this, and will recommend to friends :)
