Idea of this plugin is simple: player chooses a role(also he can shop in lobby and in arena) and goes in arena to capture points by placing colored wool in them. This game can be played in capture mode, where team which captures defined amount of points wins and in score mode where each point generates score every 30 sec and team which reaches defined amount of score wins. Each point capture and kill gives money and for it player can buy by punching signs.

Check if you are receiving any errors. And also what plugin and bukkit version are you using. Blocks can be left if you use hardarena restore, but do not give database address. In that case better use default restore. Role items should disappear after game, If not you should receive some kind of error or maybe other plugin interferes with that.

Posted Feb 11, 2012Sometimes, when my players come out of a CTP game, they still have their items from their class.
And sometimes, after a match. The blocks in the points don't go away... why?
Why does this happen?
(Is there a fix?)

Posted Feb 7, 2012No matter what I do with the "points to win" configuration the game always ends as soon as someone fills one point with wool. It says Blue wins with a score of 1/1.
What am I doing wrong?

Posted Feb 2, 2012If there are 3 players which want to join a CTP game, the plugin kicks one of them, because the number of players is an unequal number. I had set the BalanceTeamsWhenPlayerLeaves property to 2. Is there a way to turn that off, or is it a bug. This is since I updated from 1.3.7 to 1.3.7.5. I also use Bukkit 1.1.
And is the way the plugin mixes teams always the same? Because always the same players are in my team.

They were all playing for about 10 min. Then that error shows up, and everyone just got moved to the blue team. The Game did not end. They capture the point and won, with no one on the other team. The team Balance did not kick in after that error.
I guess when someone type /ctp leave, It might have tried to balance the teams and just screwed up.

Posted Jan 28, 2012Update to the original post. As for the class item bug, to do it, take the ranger class. Take the bread item and place it inside the main inventory above where the bow is. Select the bow in your hand. Click on the tank sign. As a tank, click on the bread on the bar. It will turn into the bow from the ranger class. Update to this: This can be done with almost any item on any class. The item in hand that you right click the sign to a new class has a good chance of converting back to the item before. All you have to do is click on the item in hand and it converts. There seems to be a pattern with rearranging the items from the action bar into the inventory. It appears to mainly happen with enchanted gear..

Posted Jan 28, 2012Three very large bugs are being exploited on my server with this plugin. The first is that if a player is in a lobby on their own that needs a minimum number of players to start, if they select their class and hit ready, they will be dumped from the lobby, as no suitable arenas are found, and occasionally keep the item in their hand. Solo players are spamming the lobby repeatedly, taking tons of items.
The second bug is if in the lobby, by hitting enough signs fast enough, they can "combo" up the gear from the different classes, allowing them to mix the equipment sets from two classes.
The third bug involves a hacked client, but players with this client can disconnect, and use the "reconnect" feature while in the game lobby. This allows them to keep their entire class equipment set for the outside world.
Also, on a final note, players can remove the wool from their head.

Posted Jan 28, 2012I'm having an issue with the role signs.
I watched the video and made my lobby in a little room above my arena (did /ctp b setlobby in that room), but when I put the signs and try to hit them, nothing? It also doesn't work with the colored wool (for choosing teams) iron block (for readying up) or the buying signs! (am i making the signs incorrectly?) (is the lobby somehow wrong?)
is there anything special that I have to do?

what about create team option in lobby ? i'm useing factions plugin, and i would like to see events like "faction vs faction", ofc i'm not speaking about support for faction, maybe something like a command /ctp invite <nick> to create a party for match, during the lobby time? or option for admins to create teams before the game starts.
