CakePort

What it does
CakePort let's you link two cakes together, and by stepping on one it will teleport you to the other.
Features
- Create teleport pads out of cakes
- Stepping on a linked cake will teleport you to the other and vice versa! (no infinite loops)
History
- This plugin was originally developed by fossil58, the old plugin page is here: [INACTIVE][TP/FUN] CakePort v0.5 - Teleport pads [860]
- All credit for the original code and idea goes to fossil58 :)
- In response to this request: Fix old plugin it was updated by eccentric_nz
- In November 2012, with fossil58's permission, development and maintenance was transferred to eccentric_nz
How it works
- Select a cake by right clicking with a bone
- Add cakes by typing
/addcake [CakeName] - Link two cakes by typing
/linkcakes [CakeName1] [CakeName2] - Simply destroy cakes to remove/unlink them
Permissions
cakeport.link cakeport.add cakeport.remove cakeport.warp
All permissions default to OP.
Known Issues
Doesn't delete cakes when using things like WorldEdit's superpickaxe.
If you find any bugs post!

I'm aware of the issue, and have started looking in to it, I just haven't had time to find a solution yet. Check back soon...

Posted May 14, 2015CakePort was one of my favorite plugins and I'm glad to see it got updated for 1.8. Unfortunately after I installed this new version I noticed that after a player teleports they can't leave the cake and have to break it. Does anyone know if this is a known issue or is it just my server?

There shouldn't be any problem running CakePort 0.7.1 with 1.6.4, as it doesn't use any new features from 1.7.x

Patience, my young padawan, perhaps you could use FatPort instead - it's basically the same principle but with any block (and no cake to eat).
You might also consider protecting the cake blocks with WorldGuard...

Plugin was not enabling due to broken plugin.yml file.
Have uploaded a new file (which is awaiting Bukkit approval)

Posted Nov 25, 2012This would be very nice idea for players to make their own teleporting network.
Could you limit the amount of "cake links" 1 player could do? Configurable amount maybe, with 1 by default?
Then people could make their own cake networks.
Also there should be some notification to player, when he teleports like "Teleporting to other linked cake". And maybe sound/visual effect? Enderman teleport effect maybe?
Thanks in advance! Very funny plugin :P
EDIT: "bug" found. If a cake is added twice, when you remove it it only removes the other name of the cake, and the link still works. I did /addcake test1 and /addcake test2 to same cake, and when I broke it it only removed other.
