Bungee-Bukkit
What is this?
Well, Bungee-Bukkit stands for BungeeCord for Bukkit.
What does this do?!
This elimates BungeeCord so you can have your servers connected without a proxy server.
Why?
I made this plugin, well, project, because I wanted server owners an easier way to connect 2 servers that they own without BungeeCord and have its own server.
Well, how are you going to develop this plugin?
I have sources of the original BungeeCord , so I plan to use that code to help me code this plugin. I might have a bunch of people help me on this since its a very large project.
How to use this plugin
Commands & Permissions
For the commands and permissions, you don't have to do anything with the commands, but you do need to do add permissions to certain groups, users, or ops that you trust very well and you know that wont do anything to harm your server.
You may/may not need a permissions plugin based on your groups, users, and ops that you want.
Files & Installation ((Installtion-for new server owners)
For the files, the plugin will auto-generate the files once the server is reloaded or started up.
For the Installation, you need to download the latest file, go to your bukkit server location, go to the , "plugins" , folder that is located inside the Bukkit Server Location, or BSL, and drop it in there, then you just need to start up the server once it inside the , "plugins" , folder
Commands
Currently no commands as of right now, will be working on commands soon.
Permissions
Currently no permissions as of right now, will be working on permissions soon.
Files
As I had said in the 'Files & Installation (for new server owners)' section, you don't need to do anything with the files, just let it generate themselves.
Problems
To make a report with a problem, hit the Ticket button on this page. Once you do that, you will follow the instructions made by the Bukkit Staff. After it is made, I will shortly look in the problem, see how it happened, how to fix it, and I will reply after those steps.

The problem is: that Bukkit is single-threaded, Bungeecord uses multiple threads. With this problem, its a very low chance for it to be developed

Mind telling me some of the problems you've found while developing this and maybe up to which state you've come with it?
I personally find the idea of a plugin which lets the user connect to other server without rejoining very interesting. Not only because it wouldn't require an extra proxyserver to run but also because of the flexibility of such a plugin.

Please include include the original copyright as per the Bungeecord license requirement: https:github.com/SpigotMC/BungeeCord/blob/master/LICENSE Im 99.99% sure you also need to include the source as its not 100% yours to claim.

I seriously doubt this will actually get anywhere. Let me explain to you: Some kid WILL walk up to you with their shared MC hosting, and complain how it doesn't work because the port can't be bound since the IP is shared with other people and they won't spend the $2 a month to get a dedicated IPv4 address. Also, you will have to use a config thats MORE complicated than bungee, because again, you're pretty much running a seperate server on top of a bukkit server. Third, you'll get tons of complaints from hosts, about how you are making their clients abuse your resources. In all, this will end badly for you.

Posted Jan 15, 2014@Noraaron1: This won't work, you'll have to pretty much hack in 80% of the NMS code. Also, I doubt Bukkit API supports this in any way, shape or form.
