Project Status Update - 6/20/12
New: First beta of Digilock has been made available.
I have posted the last version (3.6) which is intended to restore a functional DigiLock system for chests. Its has issue, many issues. Backpack inventory drag functionality creates ghost inventory items, Shift+Click works, but is at time unpredictable, I recommend disabling Backpack or use at your own risk. Doubledoor mechanics DO NOT WORK. Sort works fine, books functionality is as it was. Again, this is a very buggy updates so please dont ask for bugs to be fixed in this release. This is a last ditch effort to restore digilock functionality while we wait for the new Digilock plugin to be finished. Keep reading for details on why we chose to do this.
Here is our plan for this plugin.

- Inventory Sort - Version 0.3 has been released. Follow link below.
- Books - This functionality has been removed and will not be re-added since Mojang is adding it to the core app.

Additional Comments: This has been a huge undertaking to re-code etc. I (dockter) have hired this out to a senior minecraft plugin developer. Please take that into consideration before filling up the comments section of this project screaming for an update to be completed. Rocologo ran out of his time to keep this up-to-date and I attempted to take it over and keep it current. With all the API changes in Spout and Bukkit I knew I was in over my head to keep a functional plugin working. That is why I decided to bring in a paid-developer to fix this properly once and for all. I personally have used this plugin since beta 1.7.3, it is a crucial part of my public Minecraft Server. There will be some additional details coming regarding both of these projects and I will update their new project pages once it becomes available to me.

That is set in my config file but in game it says I lack the required permission and I have searched around with no luck. Thanks.

Alright I saw the config file has 2 sec as the default, however after I create the door, it does show 2 seconds, and 0 for the cost. However when a user who just has simple permissions attempts to open the doors he is stripped of $2 from his account. The cost goes up to the same amount of the close timer. I don't think this is intentional. I'll add it into the tickets.

If you look through the config file, there is actually an option under bookselves
Enabled: False # This will disable BIT using bookshelves for storage.
As for the books, just don't give your users the permission nodes which allow them to access the book portion of BIT and it someone has a permission node that gives them all permissions, then give them negative nodes to remove permissions.

In the config file you can set a default close timer for everything
DefCloseTimer: '3' #This makes all close timers set to 3 unless otherwise specified
As for the use cost (if that's what you ment) set it to 0 and set Users to Everyone. Once this is done, the door should be accessible to everyone free of charge and will close after them once 3 seconds has passed.

This plugin is quite dependent on Spout/Spoutcraft. Some aspects of the plugin may not work as intended is either is missing. The documentation provided indicates much of what requires Spout and/or Spoutcraft.

Posted Feb 14, 2012Have you had any luck on why when you take things from a chest to a workbench it goes back into the chest. It's really annoying :(
It makes the game almost unplayable. If you relog your stuff will reappear. it's really odd.
If players don't use spoutcraft and just use regular mc by using /backpack there is no issue for them.
hmm interesting. When I remove either bukkit inventory tools or dynmap world edit works fine

Posted Feb 13, 2012Seems my problem was something missing on the permissions group node, silly me.
Hey testing out some things, I see that when I lock a door and give it a closer timer, it automatically makes the cost at least the same amount of the close timer. Is this intentional? I was hoping just to make it so some doors were available to everyone, but "locked" so that it would automatically close behind them.

Posted Feb 13, 2012Man you guys are on top of things great job really. It be cool if this had vault support as well as the option to turn of specific modules that may make it hard to use other plugins. Such as the book and bookcase portion of the plugin.

Posted Feb 13, 2012Is there any chance there is a way I can merge the BIT Data from 3 worlds in the plugin folder (i.e. player inventories and data base), into one file so that they will work with Multiple Worlds running on Multiverse? Maybe I should better ask, does BIT support saving data on multiple worlds? I understand I can separate the sharing of inventories with certain plugins. But if my users have backpacks in 3 separate worlds and locks setup in those worlds as well, will BIT be able to separate them?

Posted Feb 12, 2012I don't think that PermissionsBukkit is running properly. I'm running v1.2 of PermissionsBukkit (the temporary fix build), and when I give a group the permissions "bukkitinventorytools.*" and then attempt to buy a backpack, I get the error "You don't have permissions... ...Contact your server administrator."
I proceeded to, then, put the user in OP and I could buy it with no issues. I rebooted the server just to make sure as well, no help.
Please let me know what I may be missing. I tried just giving bukkitinventorytools.backpack.use and .upgrade18 but again same error. Please advise =)

You need to give them upgrade and use permissions for them to buy and upgrade.
