BouncyBeds

Enjoy the wonderful and enthralling sensation of jumping around on beds. This plugin allows for users to get a super high jump from their beds and land safely (most of the time) back on the ground! Indubitably simple and fun, let the jump begin! The value for the jump height is, of course configurable (try the value of 90).

Hmm, that could be interesting, I was actually looking into a different method at the moment. Indeed, I know Java is extremely easy to decompile, however, I've noticed that most tools to decompile examine the byte code, meaning that oftentimes it's not the exact code that was written.
Thanks for the help and interest!

Posted Dec 15, 2012Hi,
Cool plugin, I like the way you are doing the "jump". Potion effects is probably a much better way to go. Might I suggest changing your EntityDamage listener to look at a map<player_guid, bool> that is set by PlayerMove? The way it is setup now, if someone else on the server gets hurt when you are falling, they will set your static bool to false and take no damage, while you hit the ground and get hurt. More importantly, if you have more than one person in the air at the same time, only the first one will take no damage.
Best, Naitsirhc
P.S. java is really easy to decompile

It's going to be a lot more then just beds, this is just a start. Also, it appears the author of the other plugin has entirely lost interest in the plugin.
Thanks for your interest!

Posted Oct 9, 2012How is this different from Bouncy Beds?
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/bouncy-beds/
Bouncy Beds works with the latest RB even though it hasn't been updated since May.
