BoatMania is a plugin like Minecart Mania but for boats.
You will be able to drive faster with the boat.
Ex: Goldblock at the bottom => Boost x8
How to use it
- Download the plugin
- Restart the server
- (Edit the config)
- Restart the server
- Have fun!
Then you must use blocks in the water to let the boats drive.

Posted May 4, 2013I have an idea for a boat/ marine-travel mod, but I'm not sure if it's possible. Basically, my idea would be to let server ops create large-scale boats on their servers by placing a special block that only ops can use. That block, (say, a crafting table with a sign on it or something) can be placed on any block, and every block it is connected to that isn't air or water is recognized by the server as a boat (up to a certain number of blocks, of course). With a modified version of the boat script, the new, large-scale boat could traverse water more like a real ship, and could carry players, chests, ovens... even livestock. And if you place a vertical lever on the boat-maker block, you can switch it up and down to make a submarine submerge or surface, letting players have all sorts of fun that way.
If you REALLY wanted to make this epic, crashing/ ramming with your ship could cause blocks to fall off, and if your ship loses 50% of its blocks, it could sink. This would allow for big naval battles, and would force players to be careful when trying to navigate treacherous terrain :)
Anyway, that's just an idea. It probably isn't even possible. But you guys asked for suggestions, and I'm your humble servant in that regard, lol

Posted Dec 20, 2012every thing seems to be working in 1.4.5 exept boat turning, boats turn to fast making you come to a complete stop when turning this is also affected by the direction you are looking in so if you move your mouse even slightly you come to a complete stop.
all that is needed to update this plugin would be to remove the turning modifyer so please delete the few lines of code that control this or give out the source code plz

Posted Dec 14, 2012Just yet another vote to update it, or give source code so that other authors can continue work on this awesome plugin!
It works on 2.4.5, but the boats behave very very glitchy, worked fine on 1.3, but now its very hard to control the boats. Ill still use it on my server, but it would be infinitly more fun if the boats worked as they should be.
