Hockey
Overview
Would you ever play hockey?
Then is BlockHockey the right plugin for you.
WIth BlockHockey you can play Ice-Hockey.
Installation
Simple move the jar in your plugins folder, don't forgot the permissions.
Usage:
Type /hockey join in the chat. Now you must wear skates(by default chain boots).
Then you or an admin must type /hockey start to start the game.
Go on Ice, take your stick(by default stick) and smash the puck (by default slad-musicdisc (2264)).
You can hold your stick or smash with it.

Permissions:
- blockhockey.join -> allows player to join the game (default)
- blockhockey.admin -> allows player to acces all admin commands(default op)
- blockhockey.start -> allows player to start the game(default op)
- blockhockey.stop -> allows player to stop the game(default op)
- blockhockey.kick -> allows player to kick other player(default op)
- blockhockey.* -> all permissions (default op)

Gameplay
/hockey join > /hockey start > Drop Puck with [Q] > Hold right mousebutton and run to the Puck > Shot it into a Goal > Sneak while looking at the Puck > Have fun!!!

Posted Nov 10, 2012Does wearing ice skates make people go faster on the ice? I may be blind but I don't see it explicitly stated. I've been looking for a replacement for BinarySkates for the longest while and that's the main functionality I've sought, but the hockey part was really fun too. Holding shift for massive speed boosts was super fun and all my players vocalize how much they miss it every time they see snow falling, as whenever we had skating events I'd prompt snowfall to make it a truly magical experience :3

Posted Nov 8, 2012Is there a way you could make it so we could define an arena, have a dispenser to release the puck (we would use a command to tell the plugin where it is), and then it could be automated. Another amazing feature would be stats (leaderboard) and complete automation, where they join the match, wait for an open arena, their inventories saved, and then they sent in with the stick to pre defined locatoins (with commands), and then a countdown starts, or it would just release the puck upon joining (whichever seems more appealing to you) and they then play. I am not sure if the following part is possible: Could you make it so that when the puck enters the goal it will track the point? If so, that would make this so awesome. You could then make it so that upon the puck entering the goal, it adds a point to x team and the team that has x amount of points (configurable would be best) wins, thusly adding a win to that player(s), and a loss to the other(s). Team support would also be fabulous. Thanks for reading my suggestions, no matter how extreme they may seem :P
