Design

bFormatted was designed to fill a need in chat plugins. Chat plugins are still reliant on permissions plugins, through Vault, or through directly hooking into permission systems.

Instead, bFormatted invites you to move away from the preconcieved ideas of prefix/suffix and to try out something new.

Why it's better

bFormatted improves on the concept of prefix/suffix by allowing you to expand to your own infinite ideas! Now you can have your normal prefix/suffix while adding on extras such as:

Donator tags
Clan tags
Developer tags
And much, much more...

bFormatted is under 5kb in size, making it very lightweight on your server!

Simple to setup, simple to use

Here's an example config.yml for bFormatted:

format: '<prefix><name><suffix><donate>: <message>'

  prefix:
    admin:
      format: '[&5Admin&f] '
      node: admin.prefix
  suffix:
    mlg:
      format: ' [&8MLGPro&f] '
      node: mlg.suffix
  donate:
    donator_highest:

      format: '&7$&f'
      node: donator.extras.normal

As you can see, it's super simple. The above setup gives admins a special prefix, a fun suffix for people who've done something to help your server, as well as two tiers of donator tags!

The higher in the list the tag is, the higher the priority it has!

Great plugin. Has most of the things I need.

You can try to make it able to hook into PEX, or have commands for setting prefixes on specific people while in-game

I could also use a quick reload command.

More variables? Like {groupPrefix}, {playerPrefix} and {bPrefix}. {time} {world}?

Does this work with bukkit 1.7 and up, or was it broken on the redstone update? If it was broken, could you please update it?

Does this add colored chat? So I can set an option chat color: &7 or something?

EDIT: Does this also work with bchatmanager?

Thank you for the great plugin! I was wondering if the source code was available as I was wanting to modify the plugin so that it applies to the display name instead of directly modifying chat.

I got an error when someone uses a % sign. Not a big deal, their name just isn't formatted for that one message.

I think so. As it stands, no matter what permission group the OP is in, they get the highest titles.

Yeah, I found a fix for now, if I add the false perms for each node to the user, it will use the next one down unless all of them are listed then it wont display anything.

I tried it out, got it all setup and seems to work mostly ok. One problem I have is OP is default top tier of each section. I would like an option where OP doesn't get anything special since I have multiple titles that have OP. Otherwise this is going to be very nice instead of making blank groups in bPermissions, just for titles.
