For your issue with "/heal shows '/heal [player]'", that will display when your onCommand method reaches a "return false". Make sure that when your command is successfully run, you return true.

As for the healing other players error, make sure that you're checking if the player is online before you heal them.

        targetPlayer.setHealth(20);

    }
}else{
    if (sender instanceof Player){

        player.setHealth(20);
        return true;
    }else{
        sender.sendMessage("You can only heal yourself as a player");
