About
A fully functional shop system for bukkit. BattleShops adds functionality not found in current shop systems. Most importantly, in my opinion; 1) the current quantity of items being bought/sold is always current and displayed on the sign; 2) You can place your chests anywhere you want, they don't have to be right next to the sign. So you can keep all of your shop chests at your base, but have a public facing sign store.
Backwards compatible with ChestShop
This plugin was designed to replace ChestShop, which means you can use all of your old Admin Signs, and players can use their old signs. The only thing to move over is for players to link their chests with their signs, click them with a redstone torch, and for admins to click their admin signs with a redstone torch.Examples
The number to the right of the quantity to buy/sell is the Amount of items remaining.
Amount remaining Colors
- Gold F : Chest is full of items and can't be sold to.
- Green <quantity> : Current amount of items.
- Gray 0 : Shop does not have enough items in stock to buy.
- Gray U : Sign is not linked to a chest
- Buy/Sell from signs
- Remaining quantity is displayed on the sign
- Full/Empty is displayed on the sign
- Allow selling from any chest to any sign selling that item
- Share your chests with other players
- buy and sell multiples
- Show player transactions
- Show shop transactions
- Admin shops
- Colored Text on Signs
- Use common names for items such as Pink Wool
- DB backend
Permissions
- For players to create shops they must have the perm **shop.create**
- For admin usage you must have the permission **shop.admin**

Posted Jun 20, 2014Oh btw. this plugin contains a glitch where a player can steal from other player's chest simply linking the other player's chest with an owned sign :-(
I am using chunkown but any chest on a protected chunk can be linked :-((( very very bad!

Posted Apr 10, 2014I have this running on my server now and it works fine, you just have to make sure the permissions are right. the only "problem" is that some of the items such as "cocoa beans" are listed as brown dye so sometimes it may confuse players whether they are new to MC or not. this is with quite a few items such as horse armor, leads, gunpowder and more. but its very easy to still use if you just put a sign above or below saying what it is. ID numbers work the best.

Posted Oct 24, 2013Is it safe to assume this plugin is abandoned?
I love how this works, however, anything with a sub-id only sells the base id item.
So like an enchant book with fortune III is item id 123:5
It sells a blank enchant book item id 123...
Same problem with bees, and well, anything with sub-ids.
Please fix or just let us know its abandoned and let someone else take over the project.

Posted Jun 5, 2013The only problem with this plugin is that people can "steal" in our server, theres a plugin that protects land from griefing, destruction, and from people opening chests in protected land. But invading players can steal items from the chests by linking other people's chests to their shops. And then selling through the shop signs.
They can't open the chest, but they can set up a shop sign to your chest and steal and sell stolen items.
Once one person found out, word spread and now people have to bury their shopchests to prevent thiefs from stealing now.

Posted May 31, 2013Could you post a list of aliases for different materials. I am trying to set up a sign that sells Chiseled Stone Bricks and have tried both "Chiseled Stone" and "Chiseled Brick". A ccouple of other blocks I have also struggled to find the alias.
Could you post the complete list to make this easier?
