What is BattleNight?
BattleNight is an organized PvP CraftBukkit plugin which makes the normal PvP experience a lot more enjoyable by adding configurable RPG like classes and a arena system. Some of the major features are:
- Easy to set up

- Build your own Arenas!

- Multiple Battle types (TDM, FFA)
- Permissions (SuperPerms) or Op

None, I coded it in an IDE like any other programmer does. I use eclipse as my IDE if that helps. If you are trying to find out how to make a plugin have a look here.

Posted Jul 16, 2012@LimeByte i have a plugin so pvp is on in day and off in night, so pvp for me is often off. the plugin uses has low priority setting. will battlenight override that, and force pvp all day in the arena? i dont have it yet, but i have seen it on another server, and it is awsome!!!!
edit: tried plugin, no faults or error, it been very easy to set up, and it gets and keeps lots more players on my server. coupled with guns, and that bow headshot can insta-kill people, means that it is awsome, i do not really mind that pvp is off in some of the night, that is a minor consideration. wonderful plugin, it is flexable, can suit many peoples needs, and can be made into almost anything you want, i have 2 big castles with about 6 players charging at each other with guns! this is a really awsome plugin, and i cannot give it enough praise. the only slight consistent glitch that i see on all servers running the plugins is that when you die you go to exit, and not watching area.

It should override most plugins but if not you will need to set a PvP region around your arena.

Prompt asks them to remove items from their inventory before they can join, clear clears their inventory and save saves their inventory.

Okay thanks LimeByte, Erm I might look into the invisible block plugin (I don't like the look of dome's around such a massive area)... Also I think the reason why World guard uses teleportations is due to the way Minecraft is made. As you probably know (Making plugins) you can only modify things that are Server side (Eg teleportation, spawning of creatures, ect.) and movement is mostly done Client side Eg why fly hacks are possible :S.

Not really but I am hoping to get it finished in about a month (I'm working on it right now actually). The recoded version itself will not have rewards included in it but I will be making a plugin which integrates with BattleNight after the recode to give rewards so that BattleNight is more "modular".

That a bit strange why WorldGuard uses teleportation, I thought it would just cancel it. And no, its not possible at the moment. How about making a glass dome around your arena instead?

No as it could make teams uneven. If you would like to be on the same team as someone just time it right as the order goes blue,red,blue,red and so on.
