Minigames Framework, PvP, and Solo combat with limitless customization

NOTICE

For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.

Default Competitions (all changeable)

Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
FFA: last player/team left standing wins
deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins

Tournaments

tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

This plugin checks for new bukkit release versions which can be disabled in the BattleArena/config.yml

ok....found it. i had to access it a differant way. i use my multicraft console to browse configs and it wasn't listed there. going through the ftp to access it, i found it. tyvm.

the only configs are: plugins/BattleArena/messages.yml plugins/BattleArena/teamConfig.yml plugins/BattleArena/config.yml plugins/BattleArena/spawns.yml plugins/BattleArena/classes.yml

i do not see one called competitions.

Im new to this. But can you update the wiki forum to help setup waitrooms, lobbies etc. Because to set them it tells you to go to onPreStart etc. Which I guess doesnt exist in the new updated version of this plugin. PM me back thanks :)

Takes away factions?? what do you mean. I don't touch factions. The only thing I do with Factions is disable power loss events for people inside the arena.

Not through BattleArean (I try to only deal with people in arenas) but WorldGuard I know can disable pvp on worlds, and that works well with BattleArena.

When people are playing spleef, like 40 seconds later another team joins in the same arena. Please fix this bug. Thanks alot

You can disable PVP in your server properties for the entire world. Then when you set the WorldGuard region for each arena you can add the flag: pvp allow.

/region flag <region name here> pvp allow If you do NOT set this flag - they players can still PVP in the arenas, but they will be spammed with red error messages in the chat saying that PVP is not allowed in that area.

In the battlearena - competitions folder you will find configs for all the events. The last row of each of these config files should have something like the below:

winner:
options: [health=20, hunger=20, money=25, enchants] It is in this section where you can change what the winner receives.

I tested this command in the most recent version, and it seems to be broken. It works perfectly in the 06.11 version. If you already use this plugin on your server - you may want to consider reverting to the older version until another version is released.

Hi.

Player Ready Block does not work since you removed JoinPhase games. My users do not like Queue games. They are accustomed to JoinPhase. I had to reinstall the version R: BattleArena_v3.8.8.3.3 for CB 1.5.2-R0.1.

Can you include again the JoinPhase games in next version please? My users dont like the new only Queue style.

Is there a way to make it where it doesn't remove my entire factions plugin on my server? when i have BattleArena set up, it takes away factions, but when i disable BattleArena (i use McMyadmin) it puts my factions back on. What can i do to make it to where both can be running?

Players in a queue are still able to join while another round is going using 3.9.1.5.3.

where do i adjust prizes for winners and losers? i been digging through all the configs and can not find it. 2.2.6 is the config number im using.
