NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

Posted Jul 27, 2013I have a problem. I tried to add new game types by adding a new config. the name of the config is KingOfTheHillConfig.yml and the first thing in it is KingOfTheHill: but when I do /arena reload it doesn't load the new config.

Posted Jul 27, 2013Hello, The new version of Battlearena is really bugged, orders "/bad listinv" and "/bad restoreinv" no longer work. The arenas are also affected, the capture the flag, for example, create an indefinite number of groups instead of two teams entered in the configuration, the arena does not work anymore as we do not come before the game but the arena is very problematic to launch a comnbat especially when you have a lot of arenas. Also what is the inventory restoration can recover some items classes this is still a problem, and effects that do not come off at the end of the fighting :/ I'm going back under Battlearena 1.5.2 waiting for the moment because it paralyzes an important part of my server.

Posted Jul 26, 2013Hey thanks for answering my last question. Also, I want to make it so when people join the server, the will automaticaly be put into my CTF map, but after each round, I want it to switch maps automatically and people to be teleported their. Anyone know how to do this?

I am also experiencing the same issue now. After a match or two is finished everything seems to break.
Also the number of players playing issue is back. Where the signs are not updating a match finishing.

Posted Jul 26, 2013what's driving me nuts is deathmatch.. got the latest one and the matches only last till there's only one player left.. each player has 1 life. this is regular deathmatch...

also same here on the break issue... after 1 game and folks just get a prompt about 6 seconds.. and it never starts. I can't cancel or stop arenas. No matter hw many times I send the command, and the terminal spits out no errors when I do this..

i change nothing in the configs, generated by the .jar file.

Posted Jul 25, 2013I've used this plugin before and I thought I knew what I was doing. I created a new arena type called PvPArena and it all seems to work fine. The thing is that the respawn doesn't work. I know I'm most likely just doing something wrong so could someone create a custom game type with a respawn onDeath? If you do could you send me the config? Finally, here is my config for PvPArenaConfig.yml
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

Posted Jul 25, 2013I'm getting an error when someone leaves the server unexpectedly (eg. gets kicked or crashes) in the middle of an arena. This causes the players inventory to be reset, not only for the world they are on, but for all other worlds as well. I am using Multiverse. Error log: http://pastebin.com/a2BBXnnR

If you want to use Permission nodes to allocate groups to donor ranks, use "arena.class.use.<classname>", adding to your permission plugin that handles your groups. For allowing people to join at any time, I believe this is what you need to add under "onJoin": onJoin: options: [alwaysJoin]
