NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

This plugin checks for new bukkit release versions which can be disabled in the BattleArena/config.yml

Posted Feb 22, 2013When joining the queue, then leaving it before the match starts, keeps commands blocked. so when typing /arena join then typing /arena leave will not re-allow you to use /spawn for example.

I think there's a bug "You can't enter the arena through teleports" -> NoCheatPlus 'teleports' the player back after they failed some kind of check. Can you listen to the teleport type, and only block TeleportCause.COMMAND or something? :)

Trying to get the FFA event running and it's telling me
"Couldnt find an arena matchign the params FreeForALL: " ect...
any idea what i'm missing? looks pretty much like the default config and ffa is enabled in the config.yml

Posted Feb 19, 2013Is there a way to add an option similar to onSpawn, onDeath etc. that allows an event to trigger after a player kills another player, such as onKill? So for example: a player may receive health or a potion effect after killing another player. I was looking through the Wiki but couldn't find what I wanted. Awesome plugin though, thank you!

Come catch me on IRC, that would probably be easiest. Either that or pastebin me the section of the config.yml that deals with battlegrounds. Ignore the other configs right now... that was a mistake, that will be a version or two from now.

Posted Feb 17, 2013Im getting a problem, I have read the tutorial on how to make the waiting room and everything so I set it up. I wanted to test it with my friend so I reduced it to be allowed only 2 players to join the Battleground as well as there being only 2 teams. When we do "/bg join" it says it puts us in the que and waits until there will be a free arena which doesnt make much sense for me since nothing is going on.
