NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

That is the problem. I have actually set those permissions. However, I'm not quite sure how to put the nodes. I've put them directly following the other permission nodes, and set them to true, so far. :)
Even when joining a game, those class signs do not respond to any input. I am pretty sure they are close to the waitroom, too; just how close to the point I set as a wr should I put them?

Thank you for your quick reply. Indeed, the new permission files works like a charm, and I've been able to test the mod inside out.
However, I still cannot choose any class (nor can non-OP people), but they do show the way they should. How do I fix this one? Other than that, it all works very fine. :)

I am having trouble setting up the mod. Everything seems to go fine, I believe it's a permission problem as nobody can /join dm except for OPs. In addition, clicking the signs has no effect at all, though they do display as specified in the config files.
Is there something I am doing wrong? I did copy the permission files in the permission.yml thingy in my server, too. (I am not using any permissions plugin) Can you please help me? It seems like a very enjoyable mod and one I would love to play. :) (I hope I didn't forget to read some part of the instructions, think not but well..)

If you have 2 teams, every odd spawn you set is for team 1, every even for team 2. I just rotate through.

Not exactly normal, I'll fix that error. It shouldn't affect the plugin though, just very annoying.

It looks like your default worldguard region flag's are wrong. wgClearRegion is a BattleArena config option, it doesn't exist inside of worldguard.

This plugin has limited mcMMO support but the best option is just to use the "doCommands" which you can use on the BattleArena classes to give other kits.

Yeah, just make a game that does that (skirmish does this by default) then do.

LateJoin: I'd like to setup arenas that allow players to keep joining until the match ends.
Flags: I'd like to add CTF type flags to any match type. (would allow for adding ctf style paintball)
Cap Points: Not sure what to call this, however it would be something that has to be destroyed in order to claim a victory for any match type. (or a new match type that allows this)

Posted Feb 1, 2014UPDATE for Spleef Users I apologize, I accidentally caused WorldGuard to not be recognized by Spleef in BattleArena 3.9.5.8 , I just released another version of BattleArena which fixes the problem and hopefully it will get cleared soon. So please wait until 3.9.5.8.1+.
