Minigames Framework, PvP, and Solo combat with limitless customization

NOTICE

For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.

Default Competitions (all changeable)

Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
FFA: last player/team left standing wins
deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins

Tournaments

tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

I had an idea of having spectating, this would go great with lots of gametypes. could you please try implement it!? also, is there a way to make the arenas regen after a match?

That looks correct to me, probably needs a reload/restart. But if it still happens after that let me know and I'll find the cause.

Hi Carl. I'll fix up the blocks, I think they stopped working at some point. As for the class switching, send me a private message with your classes.yml so I can test with them.

I doubled checked and the perm is "arena.duel.<game>" and that seems to be working for me.

Minecraft servers sometimes get unsynced with items for some reason, there is a setting in the BattleArena/config.yml to set how often they can switch the classes which often helps. You can also try not giving them a default class, that sometimes seems to work.

I added 3 classes, Tank, Archer, and Mage. Tank has a diamond sword, Archer has an iron sword and Mage has a stone sword. But when my players select other classes in the game, the sword glitches and becomes a diamond sword, the other players see it, but not the player with the glitches sword, he only sees it after hitting someone. The default class is Tank, if wondering.

I have created a custom game called Guns and configured it to use prefix [Guns] in GunsConfig.yml, but when a match begins, it's still announced as [Arena]. Should I also create GunsMessages.yml and configure it to make new arena prefix work in announcements? Any help appreciated!

Hello. I'm having problems when starting a game with iron block. I need that the game starts when at least 2 players have clicked the iron block, but as I have it set does not work. I have set this: "enablePlayerReadyBlock: true readyBlockType: 42" All config.yml: http://pastebin.com/rmLwtprj

Another problem that I have is that players can't change classes as often that they want. When somebody try to change the class selected appear this message: "You can't switch classes after changing items!"

Server is freezing up every 12hrs with the following:

Amazing plugin! Very useful, glad this is out there. Please keep updating it! Also, in a default TDM match, the first player to get a kill wins. Is there a way to set it for the first team to 5 or 10 kills wins, or whoever has the most kills after 10 minutes wins? (Either one would work) Thanks for the awesome plugin, keep up the great work!

Hi,

I'm having problems with the death match game mode. When players teleport in and out it infinitely teleports them, so they are stuck in place. Is there a fix for this?
