NOTICE
For updated files, please use the BattleArena2 page. It has all of our updated files, and many of the issues that exist in the latest version here have been fixed through updates.
Default Competitions (all changeable)
- Arena: Fight with what is given to you in the config. You can't bring items in or out
- Skirmish: Bring in what you want to fight with, you take out whatever you pick up
- Battlegrounds: Winner is the highest kills after 1 minute. 4 teams may compete
- Colosseum: 4 teams against each other, last man standing wins
- FFA: last player/team left standing wins
- deathmatch: 2 minute event where if you die you respawn. Highest kills wins
Tournaments
- tourney: Pick a match type and do a single elimination tournament of that type.

I've never heard of anything like that. It seems like the player is getting kicked out of the arena. Does the scoreboard show that they left, or does it still show them as still participating?
I'm also lead to believe that it is one of your bungee plugins. Are arenas done cross-server? Or is Bungee only involved in getting them to the BattleArena server?
It may also be helpful to see what your Arena Config looks like, perhaps there is something there. I might even try and recreate your problem running my plugins and see if it works fine. I do not use Bungee so it may help test for it being the problem.
Finally, have you experienced the problem I outlined in my previous comment? I'm curious to see if it is just me or many people. If you'd like to help me pursue an answer to my problem while I look into yours it would be much appreciated.

I have nLives set to 8. The really odd thing is that I can have four people playing in the arena, but only one of the players out of the four gets teleported to the world spawn when they click respawn, while the others can keep on killing and respawning.
I have quite a few plugins, but I'm guessing that one of the BungeeSuite ones is causing the issues. Here's a list of the plugins I have: http://pastebin.com/kwntpSvq
I've tried switching the players to different permissions groups, op/deoping players, removing the Essentials plugin, and removing the BungeeSuiteTeleports plugin without any luck.
After some more research the location the player is teleported back to after they click respawn is where they would normally go if they typed in the command /back which is handled by that BungeeSuiteTeleports plugin. However as I said, if I disable that plugin I still have the issue.

Do you have nLives set to a high number? If not, the arena is ending because every player only has one life which is the default. It could be that another plugin is taking over handling for re-spawning. Which plugins are you running?
--------------Also, is anyone else successfully running more than one arena at a time? Whenever I run more than one at a time, The players in the first arena stop receiving proper update messages. The message has their arena name but the time and score of the second arena. It isn't just the message that is wrong though, the entire arena stops keeping track of time and continues forever until players quit. If anyone has a fix or is having the same problem let me know!

Posted Sep 1, 2013I'm having a pretty major issue with this plugin where when a player is killed and they press the respawn button they are teleported to the server's spawn instead of their spawn point within the arena.
Does anyone have any insight into why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Is it possible to add a timer on arena start? I mean a timer either on a board in the arena created with signs, or a timer in the players UI, top corner?
Of course you would have to be able to configure how much time to run down.
...Or is there already a plugin like this that works with Battle Arena?
